You have no idea how spooky that is.

Driving past a week or so ago i laughed to wife how dodgy that place looked/sounded.

She's on a road trip with her three sisters but as it happens had just sent through a link to that article via messenger.

How bizarre lol

Sounds like there will be no more bananas on fire at that particular establishment.

No, no...all chance frittered away

I'd love to know who the independent officers are who police this.

BTW how many massage parlours out there do you think strictly massage in a non sexual sense

True story I had a crook neck and was out shopping on bridge Rd and my wife said why don't you get a massage. It was a bit like man flu I was sooking pretty bad. Asked for a massage on my neck and at the end the lady flipped me over to finish it off. From my one off experience I'm guessing it is more common than not.

Send the bill to my estate Red. After today's "effort", I think I shall open an artery - or two.

FMD!! And then do it again.

Our club and its players continue to disappoint. That is the one constant.

So, anyone had any good banana smoothies lately?

I actually purchased a few bananas last week.

Pity there no reason to turn them into a smoothie until 2018.

It's now all about the next AFL season as I feel there a chance of us winning at least one finals game.

And we are. Consistently disappointing supporters.

Gee there are a lot of sad sacks on Demonland today.

Understandable but hardly new.

This morning I checked my notes from pre season and thought we would win 13 and just miss the finals.

So not far off my predictions.

At the start of the year I thought we still had a number of players that were barely AFL standard and that was the way it panned out.

I am not normally some one who believes in luck but gee we had some shockers this year.

Injuries cost us lots, has anyone had as bad a year as Hogan and has T mac ever played as badly as his last three games?

well onward to 2018.

I hope some changes take place in the FD because they cost us a number of games IMO.

I wouldn't suggest waiting six months and then making the smoothie with those bananas ... anyway, what is AFL?:rolleyes:

AFL is a form of pain, agony and disappointment we all must have.

But it only until September when we have all this free time to do the things our wives have been asking us to do over the past six months.

Haven't seen DL this fired up, but understandably so.

I am so p-ssed off I actually don't want to watch any finals even including the GF. I just couldn't care less.

Have even stopped watching 360 and AFL tonight.

You are not alone Mr. Leg.

i am not very fired up just a little disappointed however I never thought we would play finals this year. Missing the finals might bring a few things to light that might have been covered up with a win.

  • REPORT: Richmond

The fans who turned up to the MCG for Melbourne’s Anzac Day Eve clash against Richmond would have been disappointed if they turned up to see a great spectacle. As much as this was a night for the 71,635 in attendance to commemorate heroes of the nation’s past wars, it was also a time for the Melbourne Football Club to consolidate upon its first win after a horrific start to the 2025 season. On this basis, despite the fact that it was an uninspiring and dour struggle for most of its 100 minutes, the night will be one for the fans to remember. They certainly got value out of the pre match activity honouring those who fought for their country. The MCG and the lights of the city as backdrop was made for nights such as these and, in my view, we received a more inspirational ceremony of Anzac culture than others both here and elsewhere around the country.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.

After five consecutive defeats, the Demons have now notched up back-to-back victories, comfortably accounting for the Tigers in the traditional ANZAC Eve clash. They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.
