Some seedy back door deal will be arranged by the german party.

But i cannot divulge too much.

BTW -Australia is on the verge of a long recession.

There will be one of those terrible stock market day thingos and then the banks will cry poor, withdraw funding from govts and sack all the teachers, layabouts and time servers, then house price panic and inflation/unemployment.

That's the plan.Shhh.

Biff you're more delusional than Dominique Strauss-Khan! And just as desperate too.

Even at the Gat?

The forensic experts often wear white hats and gloves when they visit.

Thats as close as we get to a cleaner here.

Redleg, you might be interested to know that according to the Geelong Advertiser, no return date has been set for Geelong "star" Mitch Clark who is sttill battling a calf injury.

Infected hoof?

Or was that an injury caused by the calf?

I though the Geelong Star was a nightclub.

Jazza is more likely to think a calf injury is getting kicked in the nuts by a young cow .... :)

You may not believe me Earl but I failed commerce twice at Melbourne Uni.

which makes me over qualified to comment.

Once would be enough for most men.

Common issue Biff. I failed structural engineering and surveying at least once, well twice actually but I am in the engineering industry 25 years on and still functioning. Funny thing that, but how many people are working outside their area of expertise? Where I work I would say at least 50 per cent of people are operating outside their area of expertise.

IIRC it's called the Peter Principle: Everyone rises to his or her own level of incompetence.....

So Earl, based on your confession, you are due to drop down to one level lower that an earl, unless you can keep your head down low enough to avoid the gaze of madam Windsor at Buck Palace.

As for BBO, well if 'those who can't do, teach'; and those who have no qualifications to teach have yet to determine whether they should be in the game, then, well.....

that's debatable, unless you call conducting research on the inside of your eyelids 'work'

That is very distressing news.

Even more distressing is this item:

People in Australia eat more bananas than monkeys according to a report from the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

The report issued today says that in the first half of 2015, Australians ate 29,633,287 bananas while only four monkeys were eaten in the same period of time.

Where is Deefrog when you need him. We are talking bananas and that is his area of expertise!

I'd be game for a possum burger. At least that would be some good use for those long-tailed native rats ... :)

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
