That little K- Hunt.

The AFL are probably wise not to delve.

Just slip it under the rug like the Matthew Stokes incident .

Otherwise your business would be ruined Biff?

I wonder if Essendon are considering recruiting K-hunt as a top up player? common interests and all that.

He may be a great asset to the Club as their other suppliers have already been discovered.

I'm in the peptide industry now.

Gone legit.

You're as straight as my grandpa's arm 6pm every Thursday at the front bar of the Orrong Hotel!

Only one day of this February foolishness to go. Ive spent this evening wandering among my favourite bottles of Shiraz. I caressed their slender necks and playfully fondled their cute skimpy labels and ..... er well as I said one day to go.

Wonder how Jizz is holding out. Can I claim a comprehensive victory for the real farmers?

Could be a draw I think, depends on how long Jazza can stay off the fags.

BBO you have gone this far why slide back, why not continue, think about the weight you have shed, how well you feel. I say continue the good fight and stay alcohol free.

Those bottles of Shiraz do you need them really? Let me deal with them instead, let me remove your temptation. It is the least I can do for you and there is no need to thank me. It is my lot in life, noblesse oblige, I believe it is termed?

Victory to Uncle Bitter I say! Three cheers old chap. Have one for the rest of us.

Some people need alcohol to give them the confidence to be outgoing and socially confident.

BBO needed alcohol merely to function through the short day.

Welcome back.

Meanwhile, in the heart of Moscow, the Russian opposition leader was cowardly murdered, shot four times in the back just before a large protest rally against Vlad Putin. As much as I can't stand Abbott (or Shorten for that matter) I thank my lucky stars that doesn't happen here and hope we don't ever stoop to that level.

Actually that could be a good way to get the right person to lead our country.

A colleague of mine at work emigrated here from Russia in the mid 90's. I remember he was laughed at in a meeting in the dying days of the Howard government for saying that we have good governments in Australia. The laughing stopped when he started talking about Russian politics ...

Absolutely pizzing down where I am in Melb and a howling wind too boot. BBO is going to have 'one of these nights' at the Eagles concert at Hanging Rock. The only thing dry will be his thirst for alcohol.

Oh yeah.

The Eagles.

In the rain.

At Hanging Rock.

I think i'd rather have the seniors card at home, watching TV, or porn in this case.

Can you picture BBO going awol tonight and screaming "Miranda!!!"

Dressed in Frilly Victorian ,corseted outfit.

Desperately searching for help,

Oh i can picture it.

BUT IT AINT PRETTY.

Have a good laugh you DH's but Uncle Bitter, as usual, was in front of the game. Being a man of the land and in touch with the elements ( and also some boy scout experiences), I anticipated inclement conditions. Therefore I had packed a large tarp 3x4 metres, so myself and my delightful company were quite cozy. Well at times a little too cozy as, despite remaining off the booze, I had rather embarrassing flatulence. Must have been the lentil salad.

Forty five minutes to decamp from the carpark also put the dampener on an otherwise terrific evening.

Thank god you are safe.

When you do not post something repulsive at least once a night we begin to worry.

We were petrified that you had lost the other girls and wedged yourself into a crevasse.

Or had wedged someone into his own crevasse....

I am trying to post a photo (780kb) but it is rejected as too large (no jokes please). Could one of you resident experts explain this please?

I think we have a total max. of 500kb worth of photos.

You can delete some old ones in 'manage attachments' but still won't be enough. Just scale down the image.

  • WHAT’S NEXT? by The Oracle

What’s next for a beleagured Melbourne Football Club down in form and confidence, facing  intense criticism and disapproval over some underwhelming recent performances and in the midst of a four game losing streak? Why, it’s Adelaide which boasts the best percentage in the AFL and has won six of its last seven games. The Crows are hot and not only that, the game is at the Adelaide Oval; yet another away fixture and the third in a row at a venue outside of Victoria. One of the problems the Demons have these days is that they rarely have the luxury of true home ground advantage, something they have enjoyed just once since mid April.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

From the start, Melbourne’s performance against the Gold Coast Suns at Peoples First Stadium was nothing short of a massive botch up and it came down in the first instance to poor preparation. Rather than adequately preparing the team for battle against an opponent potentially on the skids after suffering three consecutive losses, the Demons looking anything but sharp and ready to play in the opening minutes of the game. By way of contrast, the Suns demonstrated a clear sense of purpose and will to win. From the very first bounce of the ball they were back to where they left off earlier in the season in Round Three when the teams met at the MCG. They ran rings around the Demons and finished the game off with a dominant six goal final term. This time, they produced another dominant quarter to start the game, restricting Melbourne to a solitary point to lead by six goals at the first break, by which time, the game was all but over.

  • CASEY: Gold Coast

Coming off four consecutive victories and with a team filled with 17 AFL listed players, the Casey Demons took to their early morning encounter with the lowly Gold Coast Suns at People First Stadium with the swagger of a team that thought a win was inevitable. They were smashing it for the first twenty minutes of the game after Tom Fullarton booted the first two goals but they then descended into an abyss of frustrating poor form and lackadaisical effort that saw the swagger and the early arrogance disappear by quarter time when their lead was overtaken by a more intense and committed opponent. The Suns continued to apply the pressure in the second quarter and got out to a three goal lead in mid term before the Demons fought back. A late goal to the home side before the half time bell saw them ten points up at the break and another surge in the third quarter saw them comfortably up with a 23 point lead at the final break.

  • POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast

The Demons did not come to play from the opening bounce and let the Gold Coast kick the first 5 goals of the match. They then outscored the Suns for the next 3 quarters but it was too little too late and their season is now effectively over.
