I didn't get to watch the game and can't find any information about the injuries to Bail, Garland, and Jurrah (leg, according to HS).

Can someone give me a brief summary of the type and severity of these injuries.

Bail - PCL. Seems like it might be serious but as far as I know there's been no word on length yet.

Garland - ankle. Came back on after initially injuring it but went off soon after. Again, no word on length.

Jurrah - had his knee taped up at some point but played out the game. I'd be surprised if he missed this week.

According to Bailey's post match-

Bail- PCL (so a 4-6 minimum) (CFUK FCUK FKUC)

Garland- Ankle (at best a minor sprain, doubtful for this week, look out if it's any worse than that) (CFUK FCUK FKUC)

Jurrah / Martin- although listed in various post match reports, Bailey indicated there was nothing too serious with them.

Garland, some sort of ankle came back on with a jab or something to seemingly get through to or past Haldf time before subbing. With that I wouldn't right him off for next week as he came back on.

Bail it seems, is a Posterior as against the earlier talk of Anterior!

Jurrah I didn't here about.

Thanks for that. Very dissapointing. Our season is getting worse and worse. A week ago, we were doing well injury wise, now players are falling left, right and centre. I really liked Bail in the last few games and Garland is important. Our lack of depth will be exposed over the next few weeks.

Bail is immensely underrated outside the MFC, I feel. He is a superb tagger and run-with player. Will be sorely missed as he plays his role each and every week.

Our backline is becoming more and more depleted with Rivers, Garland and Grimes all out injured. Hopefully Riv can make his return next week.

Seems the MAXIMUM length on our injury list is 4-6 weeks, so after our month of playing the Top 4 teams, we should have most guys back (perhaps apart from Bail). Pending no further injuries, of course...

Be prepared for a very disappointing next month, peeps... :(

Injuries also won't help Bailey's coaching cause... looks ugly.

Bail will be missed. He is one a few that work hard both ways! Runs hard and uses it ok as well.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
