Well how does everyone rate our team at the moment?

So far I would say its unimpressive, with lots of room for improvement.

However we have a chance this weekend to change this perception

It is said Good Teams win the tight games, but even better teams destroy a opposition that is a lesser team then them.

This week Melbourne comes up against the """Cold Coast Suns,""" :rolleyes:a team that many Pundints have pointed too as being possibly a team they do not expect to win a game this season.

So what should Melbourne do this weekend against CCS???

Destroy them? Clean their boots with them, or will it be at our expense that the "Sun's" finally do shine.

That would be a absolute disaster as far as I am concerned for the Melbourne Football Club.

However on current performance of both sides we should win comfortably

But we need to do more than just that, we need this as a cataylist for our team to show they can play some real football not by just beating the Gold Coast SUNS but utterly anniliating them

Minumum margin should be 50 points over 100 would be a truly respectable result.B)

Mate , this is a nothing game .

Everything to lose , only the 4pts to gain .

They should absolutely destroy the GC , but that won't prove anything .

Spot on 'Fork', very little to gain. Some tiny status upgrade, and to appease the supporters.

I just hope we click together, to gain some Rhythm and momentum. It would be nice, if Jack plays, for him to exert some strong contesting.

No, percentage given 3 draws so far to bottom 8 challengers is also important, let alone giving some of our young kids the adrenaline rush of a monster win. Can't get addicted to something you haven't tasted!

Malthouse said last week we are playing as if its April - in other words its a long season, a young team and they will gell togther - as they did late in the season last year.

We can't be racing out of the blocks at this time, nor should we , if we want to be there at the end. That said, after today we will be 2 wins and a draw going into the bye. I'd take that any time.

As I hoped Respectable

Even though they had some ket players out

Even though by all accounts it was fairly warm

We do do it hard at times

Better still

No Reports

No Injuries

Just a shame I dont punt would have been a handy little bet

Lets hope they can get Jack Up

Lets see what happens as injured players start to come back

Am I happy ? For now yes!

At this stage we are in the hunt

Only Time will tell as the season unfolds?

But at least we can stilllook forward to it
