Ricky Nixon

Featured Replies

Some questions are still of interest: Given articles by C Wilson and M Sheahan recently, have both journos got a particular axe to grind against Nixon? And why was the Herald Sun paying for her room?

You should have a deeper look at how the Murdoch press operates worldwide. If they can't dig up up outrages then they will create them.

Read the heads in sands at the start of the thread.

I think the thing that connects Nixon's erratic behavior over the past few years, emergency ambulance admission to hospital for 'pneumonia' last July and this hotel episode could be 'white line fever'?

Just from observing his media persona, I'd be shocked if he didn't indulge.

Not sure about those incidents, but he's the perfect candidate.

A question for the legal beagles; does Statutory rape come into the equation ?

Read history of Benny. Similar,... Wheres Rick baby??? Has he had a haircut lately???

Should it matter?

He's not an AFL player, he is not subject to testing and can do as he likes.

he could be up to his neck in doodoo should he be involved with supplying a minor!!

Yes he is, by the Vic Pol'. I don't think he'd abscond from the AFL.

But there's rumoured insinuations of use. Vic Pol, would be interested in such, especially if he's driving.

No.

That's ridiculous.

When have you ever heard of somebody being charged with pure consumption?

He'd have to be caught driving whilst it was affecting his system.

Simply doing a hair test to show he had taken it is not enough.

at the very least, he is hardly a person of high moral standards - which isnt the wording but you get the drift - that you have to be (as outlined by the AFLPA) to be a player manager.....

btw, has anyone seen the photo of the alleged girl going around, she is well hot, ricky was definately duped, but still the bloke is an idiot

I love the headline in the Age today "Nixon Must fall on his sword". HAHAHAHAHA his sword has already gotten into enough trouble

Here it is > www.dailymotion.com/video/x64dcz_the-long-swift-sword-of-siegfried_shortfilms :)

If they catch him driveing & pull him over, & test him.

When he's O/S, he can't be pulled over by the local C's, nor can he be tested for use, after allegations of supplying a minor.

Sorry if thats wrong, but thats my take on it.

Haven't the Journalists had a FANTASTIC week-there is nothing a journalist loves more than to stick the Boot in and get a Back Page headline.

"Fall by the Sword" Hahaha. The Sub Editor got his laugh in there.

Oh and let's be ready for the shadow writer who gets to write the St.Kilda Schoolgirl Book. She will give us the Tell All by maybe next year..

Big Week for the journo's, They Love it i assure you!!!

He has to be caugut IN possession of it.

When they were testing drivers for drugs in recent months, if you had traces of the drug in your system, you'ld be likely charged with driving charges. It would also show he'd been a user. Adding to a potential case backing up the allegations.

God, it's like arguing with someone who speaks another language.

I'm going to let it go, because you won't get it.

Apparently, Hinch reckons Nixon might fulfill a role in the Aussie World Cup team in India - SPIN RICKY SPIN.

Pretty hard-hitting but I suppose both Nixon and Hinch would say they're both doing their jobs. Nobody comes out of this smelling of roses.

It's time for government and the law to step in and deal with the minor at the centre of this storm to protect her from herself and give her some chance in life.

  • REPORT: Fremantle

For this year’s Easter Saturday game at the MCG, Simon Goodwin and his Demons wound the clock back a few years to wipe out the horrible memories of last season’s twin thrashings at the hands of the Dockers. And it was about time! Melbourne’s indomitable skipper Max Gawn put in a mammoth performance in shutting out his immediate opponent Sean Darcy in the ruck and around the ground and was a colossus at the end when the game was there to be won or lost. It was won by 16.11.107 to 14.13.97. There was the battery-charged Easter Bunny in Kysaiah Pickett running anyone wearing purple ragged, whether at midfield stoppages or around the big sticks. He finish with a five goal haul.

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.
