I have found that on certain computers you get an error message when you try to visit demonland. Just now I have found my home PC (which normally has no issues) is unable to access a few of the threads. There doesn't seerm to be anything different about the threads themselves and i know i was able to access the same threads from the same PC in the last few days?

anybody else have this issue or know of a solution?

anyway, just a heads up Mods

Me too. Can't access the 2011 thread - that has a poll?

Had same problems too on Safari and Internet explorer. Sorted out when I switched to Firefox browser.

I'm using firefox and can't see the 2011 thread. Quite annoying.

I can't seem to vote on that poll. Now the thread won't even come up...strange.

yer can't get into the 2011 thread either

Haven't had issues once I'm on the forum. But if I google 'demonland' and click the links, I get a tinyurl redirection error... Its not normally how I access the page, but odd nonetheless. Does this happen to others?

I've seen that too, no idea why it happens. Doesn't seem to happen every time either. The URL seems to be correct, so...?

I've never had any issues in the site either. Makes it pretty hard to diagnose when I can't see the issue myself.

Yep my work computer 9/10 says can't find web page. On my iPhone never had an issue??

I found it strange too. On the 2011 thread, I got a blank page using Internet Explorer on a windows computer. On my Mac I got a blank page also on Safari but it worked OK on Firefox. I switched over a few times and was still absent on Safari but working OK on Firefox.

This is the screen I get.

I get exactly the same.

^ Me too, on the 2011 thread.

That is what we were referring to. The thread won't even come up for me. Initially the thread came up no problem, I began voting, went to vote, then it all happened for me.

:(

Nasher ??

People are still voting on it, so must be working for quite a few...

I was voting 11-12 btw. (ie. an improvement)

Could see 13+ if cards fall into place ie. full strength side, injuries etc.

Seems to be working only when not signed in.

I've tried three different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE), and the thread works if not signed in, but once signed in, getting a 500 error.

Must have some Demons in it

Interesting. I can log out and view the 2011 thread, but log back in and it's gone. Obviously an issue with the Poll graphic as that is not shown to visitors.

It definitely worked when it was first created because I voted on it using the same browser I'm using now. But when logged in now it wont load, I dont get the error, just doesnt load at all (Using Firefox)

Also wont load using Safari on the mobile

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

It seems like only yesterday that these two sides faced off against each other in the centre of the continent. It was when Melbourne was experiencing a rare period of success with five wins from its previous six matches including victories over both of last year’s grand finalists.  Well, it wasn’t yesterday but it was early last month and it remains etched clearly in the memory. The Saints were going through a slump and the predicted outcome of their encounter at TIO Traeger Park was a virtual no-brainer. A Melbourne victory and another step closer to a possible rise into finals contention. Something that was unthinkable after opening the season with five straight defeats.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.
