The ultimate banker maybe.

In a year where there have been none..

Arrest warrant for Von Miller suspected of assaulting a pregnant woman.

Rough season so far for the Bills.

Chiefs  Dolphins  Lions

Blackout time till around 5:30 tonight. Gonna be a tough one especially in the rain where Purdy seems to struggle.

Gee Flacco looked good today for a guy who hasn’t played in 3/4 a year.

Rams got another win which is nice and developing some good rookies that should hold them well in the coming years.

Niners have only themselves to beat for the SB.

Well done to DemonDave & Dee Zephyr in gaining 2 points this week - very well earned as they had to tip away from the Chiefs!

Anyway, we're all on the board now with 10 points up for grabs in the last 5 weeks (plus a bonus point available in those 5 weeks)

It's been a real test of patience for all of us in such a weird tipping year but I'm reminded that points are easier to gain at the tail-end of the season - good luck you blokes!

Love looked great today @Macca

He looked as calm in the pocket as a vet.

I listened to the whole match and the regular Packer commentators were quite impressed with Love's game.  Made a lot of smart decisions from the pocket

The team matched the Chiefs all game too so were worthy winners

But the team is the youngest in the league so hiccups will occur.  Run home isn't tough so we might fill a wild-card spot (vying with half a dozen teams along with your Rams, Gorg!)

49ers super impressive. they are pantsing the Eagles.

Purdy was fantastic and the 49ers are going to be hard to stop

Going into Philadelphia's home field and winning that way was mighty impressive

Of course, in this sport anything can happen and TD's can be scored from fumbles, interceptions or run backs so you never know

Your Cowboys aren't far off leading the NFC East now

Might be decided next Monday night - Eagles @ Dallas!

So here's a refresher on all the teams that we support

@Gorgoroth  Rams

@BDA Cowboys

@Dee Zephyr  Bears

@Go the Biff  49ers

@JV7  Atlanta

@Dappa Dan  Eagles

@DeeSpencer  Bears

@DemonDave  49ers

@Clintosaurus  Jags

@Dr. Gonzo  J.E.T.S

@titan_uranus  49ers

@layzie  49ers

@Macca  Packers

@cowboy_from_hell  Vikings

We could do with some more AFC supported teams and I'm working on a couple of Demon mates who follow the Bills & Pats respectively

Might be helpful to have a pie chart. I'll do one later.

Sure to have @Gorgoroth seeing red!

Looks like the large majority here on this thread have teams that are in contention, layz (apart from a couple of exceptions)

Dak playing well. He has options now other than Lamb. Ferguson at TE is playing very well and is developing into a reliable outlet.

Coughing up a lot of points though. Conceding 30-35 points a game won't cut it.

We've been here before with the Cowboys. Look the part but fold when playing quality opposition. Let's see how they go against the Eagles.

Your boys showing a bit.

I'm a fan. Checks down and doesn't get fazed. I'd have him, even with Purdy.

Blacked out everything and was prepared to lay the smackdown on any spoilers but made it to 5:30 yesterday.

The Eagles came out flexing their muscles while we couldn't generate any offense at all. Could have easily been another whitewash but in one of the first times on record known to man, Kyle made adjustments and went to a more pass first approach with screens. The classic example of the West Coast offense and using pass plays as if they're running plays.

Purdy utilised the weapons around him but I thought he played a fantastic game after what happened last time.

The NFC is livened up now and I can't wait to see Eagles and Boys. December will be good viewing peeps. Sit back and enjoy.

Cracking game today, Lawrence got hurt and it didn’t look good.
Browning keeps playing like this he is a starter on another team next year.

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

    The media has performed a complete reversal in its coverage of the Melbourne Football Club over the past month and a half. Having endured intense criticism from all quarters in the press, which continually identified new avenues for scrutiny of every aspect, both on and off the field, and prematurely speculated about the departures of coaches, players, officials, and various employees from a club that lost its first five matches and appeared out of finals contention, the narrative has suddenly shifted to one of unbridled optimism.  The Demons have won five of their last six matches, positioning themselves just one game (and a considerable amount of percentage) outside the top eight at the halfway mark of the season. They still trail the primary contenders and remain far from assured of a finals berth.

  • REPORT: Sydney

    A few weeks ago, I visited a fellow Melbourne Football Club supporter in hospital, and our conversation inevitably shifted from his health diagnosis to the well-being of our football team. Like him, Melbourne had faced challenges in recent months, but an intervention - in his case, surgery, and in the team's case, a change in game style - had brought about much improvement.  The team's professionals had altered its game style from a pedestrian and slow-moving approach, which yielded an average of merely 60 points for five winless games, to a faster and more direct style. This shift led to three consecutive wins and a strong competitive effort in the fourth game, albeit with a tired finish against Hawthorn, a strong premiership contender.  As we discussed our team's recent health improvement, I shared my observations on the changes within the team, including the refreshed style, the introduction of new young talent, such as rising stars Caleb Windsor, Harvey Langford, and Xavier Lindsay, and the rebranding of Kozzy Pickett from a small forward to a midfield machine who can still get among the goals. I also highlighted the dominance of captain Max Gawn in the ruck and the resurgence in form in a big way of midfield superstars Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver.

  • POSTGAME: Sydney

    The Demons controlled the contest from the outset, though inaccurate kicking kept the Swans in the game until half time. But after the break, Melbourne put on the jets and blew Sydney away and the demolition job was complete.
