If the cheifs or 49ers go down this week I'll give it away

Chiefs, 9ers, Philly

That was one ugly outing for the Chargers today, I don't particularly rate the Raiders, but they absolutely obliterated their opposition. I gave up that game at half time, very rare I wont sit through a whole game if I can...

Couldn't believe the half time score too ... (42-0) The Raiders have got 11 teams above them in the AFC all with a game in hand so they'd need a miracle to make the playoffs

Chiefs  Eagles  49ers

Not so confident about that line with the Niners. Could have up to 7 starters out.

Cowboys with a huge hold on 3rd down but Demarcus Lawrence gives away a boneheaded rough the passer penalty. Bills score. When is this team going to learn? I would drop Lawrence for a game. This indiscipline has to stop. I'm sick of it.

Another personal foul to extend a drive. special teams this time. bills score. been going on for years. McCarthy can't sort it so appoint someone who will

Another shellacking for the Cowboys. Never in this game. Such pretenders. These players are weak as [censored]. They will never learn. Try a new coach and hope he can toughen them up but honestly, I'm not sure anyone can make a difference. These behaviours are so ingrained.

Before this game I'd have had Dak well and truly in the MVP race. Their line was completely overwhelmed making Ffloyd and Phillips look like Lawrence Taylor as they repeatedly got to Dak.

I've still got the 'boys being a big challenger and it's better to get the smack in the mouth now but these are definitely the kinds of performances Dallas fans are tired of.

On the other side I don't care who you are in the AFC, you do not want to be facing the Buffalo Bills if they sneak into a wildcard.

The Eagles can't get stuffed... Costing a much needed point there 😡

And we could have bet London to a brick that the Eagles were going to lose

Mind you, my other choice for 3rd pick was Atlanta

Houston was the team we missed on (or bypassed)

I've had a quick look at the last 3 weeks and none of them are easy ... maybe one only dead-set cert on each of the weeks?

I'm having a much better time of it following J-Mac & Zac in Hong Kong!!

I'll post up the week 16 games later on

  • NON-MFC: Round 12

Round 12 kicks off with the Brisbane hosting Essendon at the Gabba as the Lions aim to solidify their top-two position against an injury-hit Bombers side seeking to maintain momentum after a win over Richmond. On Friday night it's a blockbuster at the G as the Magpies look to extend their top of the table winning streak while the Hawks strive to bounce back from a couple of recent defeats and stay in contention for the Top 4. On Saturday the Suns, buoyed by 3 wins on the trot, face the Dockers in a clash crucial for both teams' aspirations this season. The Suns want to solidify their Top 4 standing whilst the Dockers will be desperate to break into the 8.

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

The media has performed a complete reversal in its coverage of the Melbourne Football Club over the past month and a half. Having endured intense criticism from all quarters in the press, which continually identified new avenues for scrutiny of every aspect, both on and off the field, and prematurely speculated about the departures of coaches, players, officials, and various employees from a club that lost its first five matches and appeared out of finals contention, the narrative has suddenly shifted to one of unbridled optimism.  The Demons have won five of their last six matches, positioning themselves just one game (and a considerable amount of percentage) outside the top eight at the halfway mark of the season. They still trail the primary contenders and remain far from assured of a finals berth.

  • REPORT: Sydney

A few weeks ago, I visited a fellow Melbourne Football Club supporter in hospital, and our conversation inevitably shifted from his health diagnosis to the well-being of our football team. Like him, Melbourne had faced challenges in recent months, but an intervention - in his case, surgery, and in the team's case, a change in game style - had brought about much improvement.  The team's professionals had altered its game style from a pedestrian and slow-moving approach, which yielded an average of merely 60 points for five winless games, to a faster and more direct style. This shift led to three consecutive wins and a strong competitive effort in the fourth game, albeit with a tired finish against Hawthorn, a strong premiership contender.  As we discussed our team's recent health improvement, I shared my observations on the changes within the team, including the refreshed style, the introduction of new young talent, such as rising stars Caleb Windsor, Harvey Langford, and Xavier Lindsay, and the rebranding of Kozzy Pickett from a small forward to a midfield machine who can still get among the goals. I also highlighted the dominance of captain Max Gawn in the ruck and the resurgence in form in a big way of midfield superstars Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver.

  • POSTGAME: Sydney

The Demons controlled the contest from the outset, though inaccurate kicking kept the Swans in the game until half time. But after the break, Melbourne put on the jets and blew Sydney away and the demolition job was complete.
