I'll be there with my son and my old man!

Can't wait as my little man loves the Dees.

It's great that it's at Casey. So easy for us Gippslanders to get there!

I'll be there. just wondering who will not be playing cause i remember last year when i went down Watts, Jurrah & Blease did not play. Reading some other posts it looks like Watts (quad strain) will not be playing again. Who are he others that will nnot be playing? Will be great if some people can shed some light on this. I really hope to see all our new recruits.

I'll be there behind the goals (Main rd end) with can in hand !!!

I hope they're ready for a big crowd, there is a lot of anticipation for this seasaon and I think there will be plenty of supporters down there to see the boys battle it out.

I'll be there

I will be doing my level best to get there after a late night on Friday.

Does anyone know if the balcony will be open? I noticed in another thread of the clubroom upgrade they were still working on that section it seemed.. Great spot to watch the game. Enjoy watching the footy at Casey.

I'll be there making wild and premature judgements about how good we are.

bummer... realised im working till 2. Its in the morning i'm guessing?

10 am sorry mate

should be a big turnout for sculgove pants-tenters

love going down to Casey

10am start

ah the woes of being a working/studying bum. I want reports! (somehow get the feeling I won't have to ask...)

Coming down from Canberra ........ can't wait to see the young Dees and Casey Fields! Would be good to meet fellow Demonlanders. I'm an 'oldfart' with a beard and will be wearing plenty of Demon gear.

Curry and beer, GOLD for the Scullgove pants tenters post!

Funny stuff.

Not sure if it is completed and open as yet. I'd imagine it would be a great spot to view from - if open to the public (being the clubrooms and all).

Those who are taking camera's down. Where possible, if someone can take a photo of the clubrooms or any of the surrounding development, if you want to post it, use the Casey forum (Casey developments thread) so everyone who can't get down can see the progress that is made. Cheers.

Knew I'd find it. Below is a quote from Casey Scorp from early last year. Please be sure to verify.

I'm sure I saw a topic asking for info about accessing Casey Fields by public transport from Cranbourne Station, but when I came back it was gone.

Anyway, here's the drill in case anyone else needs to know:

There's a bus service (TrainLink - Route 896) which meets every train at the Cranbourne Station from 5am to 1am and goes to within 700m of Casey Fields (there is a stop at the Casey Indoor Leisure Complex). The bus stop is next to where the new $37 million Casey RACE (pool & gym complex) is being built.

The bus leaves about 2 minutes after the train gets in, so don't take too long to get to bus stop.

The bus takes about 10 minutes to get to the Casey Indoor Leisure Complex, and then you'd have a 10 minute walk to the ground.

Yeh, but does anyone know when the family entertainment is? Is it during or after the intra-club? I would have thought that the players would generally join, so I'm surprised if it's all at the same time. Can anyone tell me the plan? The MFC website is very light on....

I would guess afterwards given it is a pretty early start already

Would anyone here know how to get down there from say South Yarra station via public transport?

Catch the Cranbourne train and there is a bus service to the ground. There are details of the bus service somewhere else on this thread.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
