You were personally involved in the contract negotiations? How could you possibly know this as fact??

Just trust me ;)

The deal on the cards now is Pick #12 and one of Fisher/Hartlett/Edwards for Everitt + #31

Watch this space.

If you know all this, do you think its likely MFC will get involved and upgrade a pick or 2?

Herald Sun reporting that Carlton are in talks for/with Matthew Pavlich !

:D

don't you just love this time of the year.

That would be a potent mix. Pav out of the goal square feeding off Judd and co... Interesting to see who/what they would have to give up to get him.

apparently Bradshaw wil retire

Makes sense

According to SEN, if Bradshaw retires it'll be so that he can get himself to Victoria by nominating for the draft after retiring. Kinda like what Mal Michael did a few years ago.

Enjoy kicking it down to that non existing forward line Brock it's what you deserve you clown.

Now you're being a tool BS. The man gave a huge donation to the Melbourne footy club to help it survive, he bled and broke on the field and training track in our colours.

Brock throws his money around so what he was on a big contract anyway, probably just done it to say pick me as captain or don't put me on the trade table. He left for pretty [censored] poor reasons when he said that he wanted to be a one club player.

He's a traitor and I'm very glad that Carlton has lost their only avenue to goal and suddenly don't look like a final 8 team.

I'd say the fact he has Brock in his username makes it more likely for him to react this way. Personally, I had Brock's number on my jumper from the year he debuted and loved the bloke, but after a very brief period of mourning started to feel very comfortable with the trade. I wish him no ill and agree that both Melbourne and Carlton benefit from the trade but I'm still a bit hurt. Yes I feel he's a traitor, but I know this is not really justified considering the modern football climate. Would have hurt less if it wasn't Carlton though.

well the lions tamed Pike,so Fev shouldnt be to much of a worry

Carlton Lion matches will b a thing to watch now

Carlton and the Brions have always had a bit of a [censored] for tat relationship.

Carlton convinced Marc Murphy to spurn Brisbane's F/S offer and enter the ND - which really [censored] of Brisbane.

... and as a form of payback, The Lions convinces young Sam Sheldon to reject Carltons F/S plans for him and enter the ND in 2006.

But I think I know which of the 2 kids I'd rather have on my list lol.

No they didn't. They kept Pike out of the press for his behaviour traits.

He didn't need much convincing, because he wanted to stay close to family & friends.

dont behaviour traits make the press, so the lions must have done something correct with pike, though i dont wnt to argue with RR, because you know everything. ;):P

Not in an RL. AFL players have level of anonymity that RL does not have. And for every Pike in AFL, there are 20 Pikes or worse in NRL.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

Some veteran Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you the following observations from another Preseason Training Session. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
