Warnock!!!

I was at the game against the Eagles and thought Warnock was BOG! Heart on the sleeve stuff!

His desperation at the contest was fantastic and he left no fuel in the tank at each of them.

I thought the No. 37 was a signficant factor in this game! Warnock/Stynes

Go Demons!

Warnock was excellent again on the weekend.

Like most defenders he can be beaten on the lead but he more than holds his own in the one on one duels (actually rarely loses these IMO). I have really enjoyed watching his progress and think he will be around for a fair while.

Grimes does get best on ground for the Eagles game though.

We would be a -4 goal better team if Garland was playing. Warnock, Rivers and Grimes have held up so well. Our backline has been the surprise packet of our season I reckon. Granted, lots of goals kicked on us, but they've done a hell of a job considering the pressure. It's our midfield that has let them down.

Is having a terrific year, and seems to get better each week.

A key player for us going forward.

I thought Rivers played a good game on the weekend too. He made a few errors by foot, but otherwise looked to be getting his confidence and touch back!

I think Warnock would have the best defensive punch[ spoil] in the league. Time after time he gets a closed fist to the ball and its gooooone.

pretty amazing that just two seasons ago Nathan Carroll was our main tall defender. He was the man standing the likes of Hall, Gehrig, Lloyf Brown, Franklin etc..

Now we have Warnock, Garland, Frawley, Martin and a reborn Rivers.

And people say Bailey has done nothing.

warnock, or also known as brother of robert, has been terrific this year but also the last couple.

amazing what a bit of confidence can do.

also think the reintroduction of rivers has been a key too - his ability to read the play is fantastic!!

and also, frawley - a huge improver this eyar.. the best is yet to come for this back 6.. get garland back and well....

all starts with defence for mine and this has been a two to three year project.. now the midfield....

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
