Out Mclean Pettard Morton Miller

Could easily add another 6 but for now this will do and feel watts needs to be put away till next year had his taste for now

I'm almost scared to play the youngens just because we have no game plan for them to follow. I know we don't really have any other option but it almost seems like we're going to 'ruin' them by bringing them into such a shamble that is the 'MFC style of play'.

Having said that, Robbo and Whelan should not play until their farewell game in Round 22 and if Bailey has any guts, he'll make this change.

Who ever you drop or select from Casey, we are only rearranging the chairs on the titanic.

Give it a rest, bit dramatic.

For the ship to sink this year we would need to be heading somewhere first, and this year is only about getting games into kids and we have dont that.

There is hope, god help you if you cannot see it.

Agree. There wasn't much on offer at Casey. Bartram, Dunn perhaps. I think Watts could go back. What is most disappointing is that Brisbane killed us and yet they thought they played poorly.

Explain?

Has not played a decent game for 10 weeks tonight he did play slightly better but he does not have a tackle or any defense in his body and just because he made one tackle tonight doesnt cut it and his kicking is sub par right now to timid in his decission making yet was not the worst tonight and will in the future be a good player not a super star everyone claims he will be, the morton brothers are about as similar as the houlihans wont produce the goods you all think yet there were some high paid players out there that seriously need to either put up or f off simple basicaly a discrace to see some guys at this club prentending to footballers and have the gall to be paid highly for it and only by default

The year is about improving. Are we better than last year ? and at the moment no ! Im just calling it as i see it.

Im happy with Davey, Sylvia and the youngsters ie Grimes and Frawley, but our seasoned campainers arn't producing their best : Brock, Jones, Moloney, Miller, Green etc

There are only three players I care to watch this year: Grimes, Watts and Jurrah.

The club can do as they please with the rest, just as long as these three are playing.

Morton will get nothing from playing with Casey. He needs, much like Watts, experience and muscle.

Hopefully Jamar is fit and ready to play, because PJ vs. Cox/Naitanui is going to be joke of the century.

I will hold back and just present you with some facts.

Good games in the last 10 weeks:

Adelaide: Round 5 - 28 touches.

Geelong: Round 6 - 26 touches, 1 goal.

West Coast: Round 7 - 34 touches, 16 marks.

Western Bulldogs: Round 8 - 37 touches.

SO YES, he has a 'decent' game in the last 10 weeks.

Before people go on about 'cheap' or 'uncontested' touches, if you play football you will know that to get these so called cheap touches you need to run bloody hard and all day to make space for yourself.

Let me also remind you he has played 32 games, and is 19 years of age.

Yes the last few weeks have been poor, but we have improved on last year. Mclean is injured, Jones I agree is not playing well atm, Moloney has had a better season, Miller agree is playing shocking and green has been really good this year.

Typical quoting stats look at the game and the turnovers more so come to a game in Melbourne and watch him live tv quoting doesnt rate with me, i go every week and have so for more years than i dare say you have been barracking for this club

he is left alone all the time by opposing clubs guess why einstein he turns over or his desission making is poor hence why i rate him like his brothers with the houlihans not much at all rose coloured glasses mate

Our whole midfield has definitely gone off the boil in recent weeks. I suspect Moloey may be feeling the pinch after not playing much footy over the last couple of years, and we all know Brock is struggling, as well as Jones. We need to bring some fresh players into the midfield this week to get a bit of spark back.

Can anyone tell me why Melbourne can't man-up? Are the players not fit? Are they playing a zone? Does nobody seem to care?

Clint i hate quoting espec after watching a game from tv but i feel some of these players just seem down right lazy people hate Bruce but he was up both ends all night as for some other players better not say might hurt some feelings if i do say what i really think but bails gunna need to chop some heads come season end and some home truths need to told to some very high profile players and they need to learn and fast

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,

    GALLANT by KC from Casey

The world “gallant” is not one that is readily acceptable to losing teams in our game of football so when it was used in the context of the Casey Demons’ loss to Sandringham in yesterday’s match at Casey Fields, it left a bitter taste in the mouth.  The Demons went into the game against the St Kilda affiliated Zebras with the advantage of playing on their home turf (not that this has been a major asset in 2024) and with very little else going in their favour. The Saints have close to a full
