Watching Interstate games

Hey Guys I was just wondering do we have a Pub where Dees fans go to watch interstate games? I have a couple of mates who support Richmond and they all gather at the Royal Oak In Richmond to watch games. It gets a bit feral but Its always a good atmosphere. Would be good If we had a similar thing?

Thanks hotgod, seems like a few people could be interested. I wonder If contacting the club would be an option? Maybe they could drum up some support. It's just a case of getting the word out there, once It started catching on I think a few people would get involved. I have Foxtel but would much rather go somewhere with some atmosphere.

We play Brissy Sat night, could be a good week to kick it off.

The Bentleigh club in Bentleigh is officiated with the Demons, and iv'e been there a couple of times this year and there is a great atmosphere, great amount of supporters and a a few great screens to watch the game on.

I was at the bentleigh club for the last few fox games. I was the tall slender one standing alone in the corner quietly observing the talent. You'ld recognise me if you think back, I was dressed in the lamp shade gear. Good warm venue, the beer looked good & the savouries smelt appertising.

I may get dressed up next week. B)

I just wish that, when we play interstate, we were on free to air. None of our interstate matches are on Ten/Seven this year, and we play 5 of them.

I think the club would prefer we support their two venues Bentleigh and Oakleigh.At Oakleigh the atmosphere is good even though probably only a small crowd go and the savouries (free) at half time go down well with everyone. If anyone wants to go to watch andbe with like go to Oakleigh and support the Club.
