Hi guys, Its not televised in south australia does anyone know how to stream abc on the nett?

Keep all the updates coming great to hear how they are all playing. Jurrah with 3 already :D

Casey Scorpions 10.13.73 to Werribee Tigers 8.10.58 at three quarter time.

Goalkickers - Jurrah 3 Dunn Jetta Miller Newton Petterd Silvagni Wheatley

Wheatley's goal was a nine point special after several Casey attacks were repulsed from inside 50.

It's anybody's game.

Jurrah 4th goal!!

jetta also got his 2nd

jurrah just kicked a perfect kick to miller to set up his 2nd

exciting last quarter!!

i had the tv turned off on me half way through the 3rd quarter, so any other details would be great. jaded, looking at you if you're not studying instead.

Jurrah has probably sealed the game, with his forth goal, which he then followed up immediately with an excellent goal assist to Brad Miller.

Good play by Dunn and goals to Jurrah, Jetta and Miller give a lead in excess of 5 goals.

17 year old Mitchell Dowse from the Gippsland Falcons is very impressive as 23rd man under the special rule that gives TAC Cup players a chance to play VFL games.

Pfft studying <_<

Nothing good happened in the third, but we're dominating the last.

Miller is just way too good for this level, and has kicked 3 good long goals.

Newton has disappeared.

Jurrah doesn't get a lot of it but when he does, things just happen. He is a superb user of the ball.

McKenzie is fantastic, continues to win the ball and Dunn is probably BOG for us.

Strauss getting more of the ball and using it well.

Martin playing in the backline in the second half and letting nothing past him. He is definitely more of a natural defender, but I don't get why we drop him only to give up the forward experiment at half time.

Interviewed CC before, but he didn't say anything interesting.

I still want to kill Phil Cleary

Holy F&$* today's the first time I've seen Jurrah play.

He's like a key position Aaron Davey. Sublime skills.

I think Newton has to get another chance in the seniors soon. He has been really impressive, as has Miller and Dunn.

 He frustrates me. Is he a VFL specialist lol?

Keep him there I say. Although i hope he makes me look dumb and makes it back into our team.

You think?

He was good in the first half but has barely touched it since. Works hard off the ball, but Miller is dominating our forward 50 (he is [censored] all over Coburg now).

For a 4th year KPP he should be having an influence on the score board at this level.

Forgot to mention that Bartram has been good and got plenty of it, while the umps are just shocking. Some truly pathetic frees being payed to both sides.

Newton just got awarded a non-goal... but he celebrated the ball bouncing off his knee after Jurrah nearly took a great mark, and sucked the goal umpire in! :D

newton 'kicks' his second. came off his a pack, onto his thigh, but he claimed it anyway.

miller lining up for another shot at goal. misses one from 40 out at most.

kick out straight to petterd who passes it short back to jetta for an easy goal (his 3rd).

newton probably should have won a free kick after bring taken down from behind in a marking contest, but was quick on his feet and laid a tackle on the player who picked up the crumbs. keeping his feet/getting back up quickly, has not been his strong point, but he jumped up quickly then.

miller having another shot at goal, missed again. kicked 3.4 so far. his physical pressure has been good. he has presented well in the second half, but dissapointed by his kickin for goal still. its not that he misses, its that he rarely looks like he thinks he can kick it.

Very nice games from Bartram, Dunn, Jetta, Jurrah, Miller, ....... to name a few from what I have seen (only since about half way through 3rd Q)

I too A.J. havnt seen Jurrah before - like the look of this fella. Hope too see him in the 'ol Red & Blue very very soon. Maybe next week against Essendon???

I just spent two minutes giving you an update and now you've decided to turn it back on?!:lol:

Well it's all over

Coburg 9.16.70

haha had 'guests' and it got turned off.

Miller 21 kicks, 15 marks, 6 handballs, 3.4 (only 1 goal to 3/4 time though I think).

Phil Cleary really is an idiot...

Phil to Brad Miller: "you're a month off your 26th birthday" *hands the microphone to Miller*

Miller: "ummm yeah"

It's a fact you moron, it does not require a response (nor does it have any relevance to your interview if you're not going to ask him about being dropped)!

Miller only played deep in the last quarter, so no wonder he only kicked 1 until 3/4 time. He was pushing up the ground taking marks in the middle for most of the game.

Going to study for exams now. I think I've procrastinated sufficiently up till now.

Posted

dunn 18 kicks 6 handballs, one of our best.

i think newton finished with about 16 touches...

haha the players in a circle singing the song, with someone holding up the words at one end of the circle.

The Scorpions got better as the game went on and finally overran Werribee to win by 60 points. Miller took the game over in the second half with his strong marking. His kicking for goal was his weak spot with 3 goals 4 behinds. The Dees would be very happy with the form of Jordie McKemnzie and Liam Jurrah.

Casey Scorpions 4.4.28 8.11.59 10.13.73 17.18.120

Werribee Tigers 2.4.16 6.7.43 8.10.58 9.16.70

Goals

Werribee Tigers Goldstein 2 Baddeley Barlow Denton Howard Obst Pask Speight

Best

Casey Scorpions Silvagni Miller MacReadie Bartram Wall McKenzie

Werribee Tigers Barlow Black Pask Goldstein Martiniello Gleeson

HARVEY WALLBANGER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Absent: Salem, Windsor (word is a foot rash going around), Viney, Bowey and Kentfield Train ons: Roy George, no Culley today. MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. There’s a drill where Selwyn literally lies on top of Tracc, a trainer dribbles the ball towards them and Tracc has to g

THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
