Im sorry I just cant fathom why anyone is considering handing over a hard to get early pick in the last of the even drafts for at least 5 years.

We are NOWHERE near a tilt and near to bolster the ranks and improve the overall gene pool. We dont have 'that' much that we can afford to be cavalier about it now.

Picks 1 and 2 stay firmly in our hands for the best 2 players.. By al lmeans see who comes to the table for other offerings ut these two are non negotiable to me.

Next year is a different kettle of fish

Agreed, I'd add Wheatley and possibly PJ.

Buckley, Bate, Dunn, Sylvia and PJ are all potential trades when GC arrives. I'm still hoping the first 4 become strong MFC players.

I have a sneaking suspicion that with this years pandomoium and positioning y some clubs to insulate against the drought that there will be some sort of knowk on effect. The extent of which is unknown. However I CAN see some players at various clubs handed a lifeline if for no ther reason as it provides some sort of depth where little may become available. Just a hunch though

My point is that Buckley, Bate, Dunn and Sylvia have all shown something. I would hope that if Bailey and co. can't make MFC players out of them then it is still quite possible another coach would see something in them. They all have some redeeming qualities, I wouldn't expect first round picks for them but I'd expect us to get something for them. I actually think there's still a chance they will become serviceable players for us in the future.

Richmond are going to go toe to toe with us for the coveted "spoon" this year, now they stuffed up with Richo as well as cousins (what a disgraceful medical team they have).

I think us ppicing sylvia at the time was the right one, he had shown alot of promise and looking at the other options well theres not much else id rather have, belive it or not you could almost tip the draft upside down lol. Just dont include pic 1

All the interviews I've seen of him, particularly on the couch last year, paint the opposite picture of Mark Harvey.

He sounded together on SEN interview yesterday, I was surprised when I heard it was him.
