Good debut, didn't look overawed with the pace of the game, good disposal and decision making.

Looks like a player.

Trade him. Hopeless.

:D

Has nice pace and worked well without the ball I thought. Very tough day to debut given the style of game employeed by both sides, and our disgraceful skill level (especially in the midfield!!!).

Hurt his shoulder (3rd quarter i think), stayed on like a champion!

That was a bit concerning! Had a shoulder reco last year from memory. Solid debut.

hated dennis commitee, bruce macavaney and the ox's commentary

completely missed his first possie and then when he got a handball 6 minutes later, "and thats his first possesion in football." and then later on said "his first possesion was also impressive"

aghh!!

Looks like a 13 year old. Disposal of the footy is first rate.

Did okay with limited opportunities available, but should have taken that diving mark! Moves well, give him another game.

Not bad Addam. Has some good skills and didnt look out of place and doesnt freak out when under pressure . Lets hope we see him play the last 5 games

Looks like he belongs, will take some time to adjust like all kids. Has the skills to be a special player.

Shoulder a concern, he would not have stayed on if it was really serious though.

One of the more impressive debuts I've seen. Looked like a keeper.

Pretty good debut from Maric today. Was disappointed not to see him have some shots on goal, but he still played reasonably well and looked very calm for a small kid in his first game. Those skills of his that were talked up are definitely there, and lord knows we need some skill in this team!

Spot on. In fact I thought the coverage itself was poor. How many times did we miss passages of play, as they were repeating a free kick/mark etc. Very poor.

They were on fire for about 10 minutes.

The boundary throw in were all you heard was brilliant by Davey. Then both our coughed up kick ins, missed both live.

Might not have been a bad thing actually.

That's right! Both poor... glad I didn't see them live.

Just wait till he reaches puberty! He will be sensational!!!!!

And his debut was more than one handball (unlike one MFC high draft pick I could mention)

Really like this guy. Will become a class footballer.

Seriously hope you are joking moved well found good space and silvia had the shot when he was clear could have easily recieved a handball and was great standing in the packs trying to get players over him to miss judge the ball, pitty he dropped what looked like an easy chest mark but then again who didnt

Interesting to see what Bailey will do with him and the rest of the small young guys

Of course he's joking fool. What do you think the emoticon was for?

Clearly taking the [censored] out of everyone on here that berates players when they play one bad game

He just had something about him. Looking forward to seeing 4, 14, and 21 over the years.

I was dying for him to have a shot.

Looked to have a touch of class whenever he got the ball.

QUICK, and looked to be able to find time pretty well. Good debut all in all, looked to tire a bit. I wouldn't be against resting him for a couple and bringing him back for WCE and Port, but on the other side it'd be good to keep getting games into him and see how he goes.

All depends how is body pulls up.

Any help, is it pronounced Marik or Marich?

Steady game.

Found space, chased hard. Looks a real talent.

Marich I would of thought 45HG.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
