Is there or has there ever been a worse football coverage than Channel 7? I know they have to make a buck but could they possibly organise it so that there is not 100% aggravation for the poor viewer. It's an insult to have to repeatedly suffer intolerable lengthy ad breaks often after only 30 secs of play. Only bearable way to do it is of course record it and ff the ads, and even that is sure to keep your remote finger busy. Made a commitment to never watch the Channel 7 3pm replay "live" ever again.

RESPECT by The Oracle (with a little help from Sam the Stats Man) ... I’m tipping the Western Bulldogs to win this game over a much improved Melbourne but at least the margin of 25 points will be respectable in comparison to the one we saw at the end of that game earlier in the year.

If Morton slots that shot late in the game the result is the Doggies by 25. Close but no ceegar!!!

bell has been quite tight defensively, he always is. his problem hasnt been restricting his man, it has been turning it over when he has had the ball, specifically awareness issues and getting caught with the ball.

That's how I've seen it - less about what his man does, and more about what he does with the ball.

I also agree with you regarding Bode being quite unobtrusive. I think the Sandy coaches report has mentioned working on his counter-attack, so he can take that to AFL level.

Prved to me even more today, he serves no purpose, not one good bit of play, fumbly, indecisive, poor skills!

Not 1 person can say that he did ANYTHING today to warrant his place!

NExt week, out: Bell In: Petterd

Hmmm. There were alot of Predictions that Juice would kick 5-7 goals..............................

One word: Incorrect.

Stewards summary on Newton: Better for the run, Appeared hesitant in the going, dropped a few marks he should of taken. Should of passed to Sylvia on the lead in the 1st quarter but elected to shoot from 50m on the boundary - Result out of Bounds! Sylvia sledged him too. Bad choice. Back to the paddock advised.

Morton to have 21 touches

Wow im good B)

People bagging Bells game today, you realise he played on Brad Johnson for alot of the game, and had him pretty well covered? He certainly wasnt our worst today. Get off his back.

Juice was ok with poor delivery, still got alot of work ahead of him though if he's going to be an AFL footballer.

On a completely unrelated note, did anyone see Trent Cotchins game vs the Eagles? That kid is really special. He will mesmerize people in the future that's for sure! Pity he wasnt around at pick 4 :( Still pretty happy with Morton :)

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
