  1. This^ Would be snapped in two.
  2. Yes, lots to take out of the game: Starting to look like the Clarry of old, Petty clunking marks. If he didn't have the yips we'd be saying he's Back in Town Viney immense, AMW showed a bit The intensity was back Chandler's pressure also huge Great game from JVR The brilliance of Kos River's transition to the midfield as well as his run - brilliant Judd McVee gun
  3. Yes, ANB 'diving for touch' was a shocker. All he had to do was handball over the top or into the shins of McCluggage. Huge brain fade.
  4. Love your work Lefty!
  5. I think given JVR has missed a couple of games, then he's the first. Also, MFC or MFC player always comes before another team or player in my book
  6. I'd go so far as to say he's an ordinary kick.
  7. Thanks champ! I misread Hore as being available but as they didn't pull anyone out of the Casey game last week, it's highly unlikely a player will come from there unless they want to risk them as a sub. As I posted Tommo out Lever in, with the rest being conceivable but less likely. Your opinion is that it is not. My opinion is that it is. That's why we're all here. Jog on.
  8. None of the Caey players will come in on the back of a five-day break unless it's as the sub. My guess is Lever in and Tommo out. I could also see another out with Hunter/Hore in as sub.
  9. I think he's just been accepted into the AFL's "I cut my own hair Club" President - Jeremy McGovern Vice - Rowan Marshall
  10. Let me qualify - I only watch the games on the AFL website and the vision is pretty limited (ie. ordinary) as the camera just follows the footy around. It's hard to get a sense of anything up or downfield. I will leave that observation to tracksiders other than, in a team defence set-up, I don't see it that much, but he has a strong frame and is a good mark. Like Jeffo, he's a developing tall in his second year.
  11. Clue: His initials are AMW
  12. I'll have a crack at this. I pretty much said exactly the same thing last year. He seems to have all the tools but doesn't impose himself on the game. I don't know if he's too worried about his opponent, still finding his feet, isn't a great reader of the play or lacks confidence, but he just tries to play his role and not much more. For instance, you'd never know he had the wheels he displayed in the grand final sprint because you never see it. If he backed himself and took the game on, you'd probably see a different player. He's more prominent when Tommo's not there but there's not a whole lot of presence yet. I'd love to see him flourish.
  13. Bowey needs to be able to tackle effectively before setting foot in the middle
  14. I've searched far and wide for positives against Brisbane and here it is: In the last three weeks, Brisbane smashed the dogs and port away. In between, they came home and stank it up against the saints and narrowly escaped with the win. If we bring the pressure, we can serve it up to the lions. Go Dees!

  16. My guess is he still has groin issues, but that doesn't explain why he played in the ruck instead of say, Petty
  17. Matt Taberner? Works in your sentance.
  18. Great news. He looked very at home at this level in the practice games and had a huge crack (not in the plumber's sense)
  19. You're not alone 😬
  20. Claims the Petracca family were/are frustrated or angry with the club are an utter crock. The evidence put forward by Tom Morris and Caro is a total reach: - The strongest evidence they have is Petracca removed a post from his Instagram account - They tried to lend weight to their assertions by saying his family were said to be frustrated (Morris) but no reference or source. Caro was much the same but she didn't actually articulate the family were unhappy, just inferred. Hogwash!
  21. Probably trying to make sense of it, which might not be realistic!
  22. I'd feel disloyal but probably do it with something back. I think LDU has massive upside in a good system. He and Trac would be a formidable combo.
  23. We need to focus on applying manic pressure from the start of the game. We've completely lost sight of this since earlier in the season and teams know they can sap our strength and confidence by turning up the heat. North Melb will certainly be playing a high-pressure game and know we are ripe for the picking. If we get bogged down in trying to deflect pressure and [censored] ourselves, we can pencil in a loss. We need to turn the tables and turn up the pressure. It's amazing how much confidence can grow from causing turnovers.
  24. That was my first thought too Jack. Maybe a little slower than Darling but the similarity was there, for me anyway.
  25. I'd say a big downgrade in the quality of the opposition but a noticeable increase in intensity and commitment to the task by the Casey players.
