Do we have any other spots on the Rookie List apart from Kynon Brown?
-
That's potentially pick 1 and 2 in next year's draft. You'd have to look at it
-
Reid or Duursma following trade-up, or Curtain, Sanders, Leake at 6 then Windsor, Leake, O'Sullivan, Caddy, K-Thol at 11 then Simpson at 42 Clearly, I have NFI but not too many players in the top ten-ish that I would be unhappy with.

As a general rule, if your Round 1 game is at home, your final game will be away and vice versa. There are a few exceptions eg. North might have a home game at Marvel in Round 1 and a home game in Tassie in Round 24. Eg. 2 MCG tenants (excluding Melb) might have home and away games at the G in the first and final round - eg. Carlton, eg. Carlton eg. Carlton. When a team gets a home game at the start and end of the year (rare), it will be an interstate team and the following year they may have both as away games eg. Port.

Not only that, Reid's fend-offs are more like Harmsey's than Dusty's - HUGE RISK!

I think we'll definitely attempt to get Duursma but not sure North will be fun to deal with.
-
They just did a top 40, not a phantom draft. But by their ranking we would have Caddy and Leake
-
We have late picks available as well if needed - in the 90's, I think. So, it's immaterial if we have 42 or not, so long as we have the correct no. of players on the list when it's all said and done.

Kane Cornilands

Good grief! I forecast months of cringeworthy Cornes substituting Petty for Kozzie in his next made-up story.

Welcome to the Dees Jack. I'm confident the Dees will give you every opportunity to thrive. I hope you flip the bird to Stephen "we haven't spoken to Mebourne" Silvani on the way out.

A bit like the Hawks - they want a second-round pick for Koschitske yet only offer a third for Chol (along with a 4 year deal).

Sydney-focused Split Round to Open 2024 Floated
Roger Mellie replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
If we play our first game interstate, doesn't it mean our last game is at home? I could certainly handle that. Home game at the G please in round 35 or wherever we're up to -
There will be some very unlucky players to miss. I'd like Chaplin to stay in. She's such a good kick!

AFLW VOTES: Rd 07 vs West Coast

Yes, Farris White played for another team a number of times (can't remember who). So did Bradtke

We should have offered the Crows a third rounder first. They could've had their tantrum, we counter-offer with the future second and everybody's happy. I think that comes straight out of the AFC Trading Play Book
-
Would 6 & 11 get us up to Duursma?
-
Thanks for clarifying
-
When I finished laughing at that offer, I realised they're no doubt running the same game with Collingwood for Adams and will attempt to get us to fight over their second-rounder. I'd back the Swans needing Grundy more than Adams.

2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Roger Mellie replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
If you have a contract for $400k (or whatever it is) 2024, you're not going to retire and take up a job that's likely to pay a fraction of that. That's my thinking on BBB anyway.
