Gold Coast Suns Rebrand
I thought the same for the Cats

Gold Coast Suns Rebrand
I suppose so but you don't see too many clubs running round with that kind of branding. Eg. Could you imagine Essendon running around with a giant 'B' on all their apparel? Or Collingwood with 'M' etc

Gold Coast Suns Rebrand
At first glance I thought it was an 'S' and wondered what tf 'S' stood for.

2024 Phantom Drafts
A big slide by Trainor! I don't think we'll take Armstrong.

The AFL 2025 Fixture
I suspect we'll be shunted over to Marvel for more games as clubs like Carlton demand more games at the G

Assuming we keep 5 & 9, who are you picking?
As far as I can tell, Hourigan didn't nominate, so pick another smokey

The Riak Andrew Thread
I thought we could match the bid with our pick 83 (or whatever it is)? If he's not bid on, we take him as a Cat B and use Pick 83 on a roughie. If we elect to split pick 5(not likely) or (possible) 9, for two picks in this years draft, we wouldn't be able to match any bids for him assuming the trade is for two first rounders or thereabouts. I'm confident we'll get a decent number of offers from desperate recruiters to split each pick.

The Sid Draper Thread
If the Crows happen to overlook Draper, I hope we pounce. Exactly the type of player we need at the Dees: capable of repeat sprint efforts and gets from contest to contest effectively. In that aspect, and with the aforementioned traits, he suits the modern game as a midfielder with balance who can impact on the way forward.

Gary Pert Quits as MFC CEO
Watters - didn't last long at the Saints because he was a very ordinary coach and appalling with player relations.

2024 Phantom Drafts
I think Twomey will get solid info on their picks. I don't recall them pulling to many surprises that the media weren't on to. I do think Silvani's record is not great. Some great picks at the high end but certainly more than his share of howlers: L Sumner, S Petrevski-Seton, P Dow (x2), L O'Brien, L Stocker, Z Fisher to name a few.

2024 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
We should draft him so we have Harry and Clarry Oliver on the list.

Training Ground?
I'm not sure it needs to be deducted. The Casey development belongs to Casey, not us and that was a big part of the whole upgrade - for community sporting facilities. For comparison, Deakin Uni received $8.6m to redevelop their oval (to exact MCG specs) and sporting facility to house the cats over summer. That's not counted in their endless handouts for taxpayer park facilities. We've really only received a few mil for the Gosch's oval upgrade.

Training Ground?
If the AFL umpires end up being housed at Caulfield, I expect the AFL would stump up a fair amount for that alone.
-
Training Ground?
The filth and the toiges both want Gosch's. It should be an entertaining scrap.

2024 TELSTRA AFL DRAFT COMBINE

Welcome to Demonland: Pick 68
I'm (perhaps wrongly) assuming that if we go into the draft with three picks, we can use them any which way. If we went in with two, that's it. I think it gives us the option of splitting one of our first round picks if a tantalising offer emerges. If it does, we drop can pick 83, if it doesn't we unearth a gem late in the draft.

2024 Phantom Drafts
I'd be happy too, but would take Draper if still there in Twomey's scenario.
