  1. Yes, I know. I normally watch the AFL live stream, but televised is preferred as you get much better coverage and replays of goals, tackles etc
  2. The Good: Better kick than most of our mids, generally composed with good skills, good role player, versatile, team first. The bad: A bit plodding The ugly: N/A It's a shame the club hasn't seen fit to play him more. I'd have him ahead of Harmes, Dunstan and Laurie. I like Laurie's smarts and skills but just not sure he'll cut it at the next level.
  3. We know his pants have been on fire before (Koz) so skepticism recommended on everything Cornes.
  4. Absolutely! I suspect the weight of his mullet is also throwing out his kicking leg.
  5. In hindsight, perhaps the club should have had Grundy listed as 'Managed.' Instead of Richo stumbling over his words trying to explain the Grundy omission, he could have said "Grundy's a little bit sore but nothing serious. We'll give him a little bit of a hit-out over the weekend and see how he pulls up." Problem solved and none of this media codswallop.
  6. I don't think so. He was more or less landed on. Having said that, I have no doubt he'd be the recipient of a rib-tickler from Tex Walker (amongst others) this week, so I prefer he didn't play until cherry ripe. Two weeks in a row of being subbed out is more than enough. Out, Petty - In, Tommo
  7. I love to see the father-sons come through too. My guess is 50's out to rookie but @ChaserJ might have more insight on him as a player and where he might fall.
  8. I would think a late-matched (a la wee Woewy) or rookie pick. They're not the same type of player but Blake Drury springs to mind with where he fell in the draft after a good year.
  9. My sense of the award is when an eligible player plays a great game, he gets nominated. When there are no outstanding candidates from the round, they'll award it to a player who has been consistently good over a few weeks or more. I think McVee's on the Mr Consistency list.
  10. I wish Schache could borrow Clarry's beast mode while he's out injured. It would solve all our tall forward woes, well at least until he had to give it back.
  11. Agree with this and while he found a lot of the footy, there were too many fumbles and fend-offs neither of which translate to AFL level.
  12. Agreed. I thought earlier in the year his game was error-ridden but he's looking a lot more composed with the footy now and confident as a result.
  13. I have that same superpower Spurs! It's marvelous to be able to tune out of the commentary. I just hear the names of the players amongst the waffle. Every now and again something particularly irritating uttered by the clowns manages to slip through the force field though.
  14. Lol 6 May 5 Petracca 4 Salem 3 Sparrow 2 Viney 1 Jordon Stiff - Brayshaw, Bowey, Langdon
  15. Agree. I don't know if he's injured, out of form, getting pummelled in the ruck contest or a combo of all three. At the very least, he needs to work on his body language. It's poor and not a good look for a captain.
  16. I would be nervous about this game if St Kilda weren't so sihthouse. Go Dees - slot them through the big sticks!
  17. I disagree and think it was just May getting his comeuppance for being sloshed and arrogant. I'm hoping the players aren't becoming frustrated or disenchanted with their form over the last month. Most of all I hope they're still 'buying in.' How's the vibe at training @kev martin? For those going to the game, it would be great to know if the boys are chirping it up on the field.
