Why wouldn't we play O. McDonald there (and let Dawes play forward where he is accustomed)? Surely O. McDonald as a defender is more consistent with our long term future (considering the fact that both Weidman and Hulett were drafted asForwards)!

Casey should dominate next week with Dunn as Fullback and Dawes off the Halfback.

I have signed the petition and added the following comment: We started out as the MCC Football Club and the MCG is our historic home. We shouldn't play any "home" games at Etihad, particularly against Victorian Clubs who are based there!

What a farcical game. If the AFL want to make us play a "home game" at Etihad Stadium, at least let us play somebody like Freo where it's not their "home ground "!

Also hats off to Hogan and Watts, three absolute champions in all respects. Very hard to listen to that Audio and not admire the calibre of the player and the man.

Paddy McCartin for St Kilda! Shame that he was dropped this weekend so we cannot evaluate them in combat on the arena on Saturday.

Kevin Templeton and Peter Moore were touted as "saviours" when we recruited them both in an almighty coup. Of the two, Moore turned out to be a good punt however it is a shame that he didn't last 100+ games like he did at Collingwood, otherwise our forward line would be looking mighty handy today.

Twenty very watchable goals without Hogan. Who would have thought that at the beginning of the year?

Terrific video and thanks for the chance to relive the highlights of a great Sunday evening's entertainment. To me last weekend's match even eclipsed beating the Pies the previous week.

Regrettably we would be even more accurate if we took Hogan out of the stat.

Very good point made on our management of rotations. This comes on top of our management of the 2015 draft where we outflanked everybody to get two Round 1 draft picks. It seems that MFC and especially our FD is ahead of the rest of the AFL in most key areas and the penny is just starting to drop.

Just walked home from the Anzac Day clash with the pies leading the bombers by 12 goals at half time. I cannot believe that we let this rabble beat us in Round 2!

And where is Hogan when we kick over twenty goals like last night?
