  1. Agree agree agree agree agree and agree. We overdid the handball but it can be crafted.
  2. 19-23 continued development: Viney Salem* Petraccccccccca Oliver Brayshaw Hunt Hogan O.mcd Stretch Weideman Frost Kent Harmes Wagner. Returning from injury: Lamumba and Salem* JKH Can give us more: Garlett Vince Must maintain form : Gawn Tyson N.Jones Watts T.mcd Jetta Instant uplift: Melksham Hibberd# Stability and depth for now : Dunn Garland Vdhberg Trengove ANB Bugg Wagner M.White BenKen Development: Hulett Mitch King... and the 2016 draftees (Assume Dawes Newton Michie Max-King also to be delisted) Watch out in 2017. We are ready to take the finals step.
  3. Jordie is a great bloke with a determination for the contest. Great to hear that he won Nth Adelaide B&F. Not surprised as he excelled in the VFL. His skills and decision making let him down for AFL.
  4. Likely to go to Freo around pick 22. Very much like Josh Gibson. Left footers appear to be more skilled. His rebound and ability to cover defend is very attractive in todays game.
  5. agree... there is some ridiculous posts about trades. Hibberd for pick 27. 99% certain. Anything else is rumour right now. MFC may be quiet this trade period
  6. Bailey Morrish... 5th in 20 metre sprint, 5th in standing vertical jump and 2nd in running vertical jump. His stocks are rising.
  7. Unless Melbourne trades out a young promising star and gives up on Hibberd... Our 1st pick is 46ish !! Florent is top 15-20
  8. I thought Shaun Edwards was unlucky to be delisted by the Bombers. He has twice starred against the Dees... once for GWS and once for Essendrug Fc. He has pace. Aggression. Goalkicking smarts. Handy wing half fwd type
  9. I played tennis with his dad as a junior at Wellington Tennis club. He was a star and very humble. Lots of fun. Always enjoyed a laugh. The family was wonderful and Olivers grandfather Reg was a great bloke always smiling. Oliver is top 20 quality. I think the Hawks at pick 14 would be great but they will need that for pick O'Meara or Tom Mitchell. Olivers dad was a keen Hawks man. Bulldogs would be a nice location at pick 18.
  10. Yes I am amazed and angry Example 25 of AFL bias to non Victorian clubs. Didn't the Lions win 3 premierships in 2001-2003. Melbourne's record of 16th 17th 17th is worse than the last 3 years at the Lions. WTF
  11. Heard Dees will give pick 27 for Hibberd and bombers 4th round pick (approx pick 60)
  12. Shifter Sheahan is deluded. Gallucci and Florent will be drafted at 15-20. Anyway Hibberd trade takes away MFC pick 26.
  13. MAJOR BLUNDER BY THE HAWKS... they regret it. And given the famous "Kennedy" name
  14. Tom Downie is a gettable option. He is in right age bracket for MFC. 23yo. 200cms 99kgs. Benalla boy. He gets physical and has agility to go fwd if required.
  15. please compare MFC v the Lions performance over the period 2012 to 2014... 16th 17th 17th but NO PRIORITY the AFL is seriously a joke
  16. wow. One player per year from your zone pre draft appears reasonable, given a club would spend $$ on the game and player development. 2012 Lachie Whitfield 2013 Zak Jones 2014 Jack Lonie 2015 Jacob Weitering 2016 Josh Battle 4 players to top clubs each year or any such rubbish was not mentioned.
  17. Vickery is a [censored]. Lazy and poor attitude yet thinks he is a top footballer. Pass. Let Hor-thorn have him.
  18. Tom Downie with pick 64 is a good punt. He is more of a Ruckman and backup for Gawn.
  19. Jack Hannath. Delisted today by Freo. Either a late draft pick or rookie. Some romance to a second chance given Freo stole him away back in 2012
  20. Victorian clubs should get access to the best player in their zones. Make it pre draft and let the clubs decide. All clubs could be allowed one choice. It would definitely reward the development time and $$$ spent. AFL NEEDS TO SHOW ITS A NATIONAL SYSTEM.
  21. Yes just read on MFC website. Sensational news. Thanks Jesse. Lets unleash hell in 2017 !!
  22. I think the Dees will get 3 picks in the draft after trade/DFA opportunities. Likely picks are 46, 64, 82. 3rd round Brandon Parfitt ...NT pacy smart indigenous mid Darcy Cameron... WA 20yo big agile gialkicking CHF/ruck Brody Romensky... Jets. tall agile ballwinning ruck-rover/HB Oscar Junker... Jets. gun 3rd tall 192cm smart special forward Hamish Brayshaw...Dragons. brother of Angus. Leader, smart half fwd/mid. Willem Drew...Rebels. running mid/wing. Ballwinner inside & outside Louis Cunningham... Chargers. highly talented HBF with Dal Santo like accurate left foot disposal Jeremy Goddard...WA. big 202cm ruck who can rotate as a forward 4th round Josh Begley... Ranges. big bodied 187cm 93 kg foward/mid (Petracca like quality). Kicks goals and has AFL ready frame Sam McLarty... Chargers. key back. Courageous abd never beaten. Lachlan Walker... 19yo Chargers... running mid/HBF. Physical type. Lachlan Tiziani...19yo Bushrangers Smart 3rd forward who kicks goals. Luke Breust like ability around goals 5th round or rookie smokies Dan Allsopp ... Stingrays. Smart very fast small forward. Runner up in Morrish medal. Bailey Morrish ... Stingrays. Has the pace and skills to succeed at afl level. Perhaps Johanissen like. Jack Henry...Falcons. smart 188cm mid tall who gets around the ground to many contests. absolute punt Patrick Lipinski... Knights. smart 188cm medium forward. Special skills
  23. I rate Salem highly and if he is fit for the pre season period, he is one of the first picked in our best 22. Salem has the skills and toughness to be a major boost in 2017 with Hibberd on the other flank.
  24. if you feel down, its because you want the Demons to win one desperately... desperately... like us all.
