Lynden Dunn
Agree. Dunn was ok and shutdown roles against Kangaroos and Tigers. Obviously frustrated during Saints game and I think wanted T.mcd to man up on Riewoldt. Dunn has been very good in Casey games. Why is o.mcd still getting a game? he has been absolutely terrible ... a Liability !! I am confused. We need experience in our back 6.

The Incredible Hulk - Jesse Hogan
MFC will not pay overs for Hogan. He is only one player. His upside is huge but his goalkicking yips are a concern. His accuracy is sub 50% once you include out of bounds kicks. I think a 4 year deal out to 2021 is sufficient at $700k a year. $2.8million for a 21 year old to digest. Wow. And he gets the play a game that we all love on the best sporting arena in the world.

89 posts... mostly vitriolic and in spite. Victriolic is under V in the dictionary and is an adjective. It sums up your style. The truth about Wines hurts, so don't get angry to posters. Get angry about Neeld setting back MFC for another 3 years.

Yes... irony. Look it up in the dictionary. Todd and his family are all class. They knew Jimmy T as well and yes helped him settle in. It was never personal against Jimmy.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
Oliver is a good size. Good pace. Great prospect. I saw him train at Maroochydore and gets in. Arms and midfield strength need another year or two in the gym.

"All picked exactly where they were supposed to be" ... because these Phantom Drafts were done 2-3 days prior to the AFL draft when the inside word on the top order was out. For most of the year O'Rourke was ranked between 12-15 before he bulleted up to #2 and pushed Toumpas down to #4. Quote on AFL.com "Wines. Melbourne. They love his fierce attack on the footy and have been big fans for some time". Fact: Melbourne was keen on Wines for all of 2012 until the last week before the draft. Viney was overruled. Fact. I have spoken to Todd and it was confirmed. Evidence? what do you want ... a stat dec. I wanted as first rounders : Salem YES Petracca YES Brayshaw YES Oliver YES Weideman YES Watts YES Wines YES Morton YES (I did not forsee the lack of heart) Scully YES Trengove YES but was against Toumpas NO Cook NO Grgic NO

Neeld's f@#kup... he overruled Todd Viney. Neeld setback the club by 5-6 years. Wines was the obvious choice.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
Agreed. Remember Dangerfield was a punt for the Crows at pick 10. Many had the 17yo Geelong Anglesea boy at 14-20 in his year. "Burst of pace but needs more posessions" !!!!

Your comparision is ridiculous. Those rookie players never had class. (shall I say Dangerfield, Martin, Wines,Oliver vs. Nicholson, Evans, Rhys Healy, Cam Johnston). Fu#$@$. My point was bonafide top 10 picks. The silk or the competitor. That's the call. That's the point

Watts, Scully, Toumpas, Parish OR Dangerfield, Martin, Wines, Oliver You choose which type MFC should pursue.
-
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
Yes a beast competitor like Oliver who is skilled, tackles and kicks goals. Parish is good but Oliver is better.
-
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
Surely MFC chooses Oliver ahead of Parish. Oliver is like Wines... a COMPETITOR.
-
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - SAM WEIDEMAN
Yes great to see a forward line in our 2017 finals campaign as: Kent Weideman Vince Gartlett Hogan Petracca Weideman is good enough to be a key fwd in the AFL within 2 years
-
Darcy Tucker
Tucker is... Tough . He is not a receiver. Fast. As quick as any in the under 18s. Skilled. Can kick 50 metres plus easily and hit a target. (Weitering Schache Parish Francis Curnow and Weideman are top 6). Option for pick 7. Better than Balic, Mathieson and Oliver.
-
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - SAM WEIDEMAN
Yes almost a clone of Boyd. Worthy of pick 7.
-
Darcy Parish
Parish is quick, skilled and competitive midfielder. What MFC needs.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
agree Prestia is our goal for end of 2016

Delistings/trades at end of the season
I am still hoping for Treloar... he would bring us into finals contention in 2016 IMO

Delistings/trades at end of the season
All quiet today but in my opinion I think: Howe to Pies Dees get Kennedy and pick 29 Melksham to Dees Pick 29 to Bombers Toumpas to Port for pick 31 Bugg to Dees for pick 46 Draft 6, 26, 31 (Charlie Curnow, Thomas Cole, Ben Mckay) Get Kennedy, Bugg, Melksham Lose Howe, Toumpas and pick 46
-
Delistings/trades at end of the season
Howe for Suns pick 19. Toumpas to Power, Moore (or Young) to Bombers and Melksham to Dees. Kennedy & Pies pick 47 to Dees for pick 27. Bugg to Dees for pick 47 Get Melksham, Bugg & Kennedy & ND19 Release Howe and Toumpas Draft picks #6 (Charlie Curnow) #19 (Ryan Clarke) #45 (Kurt Mutimer). Upgrade Harmes and Vandenburg.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
Agree we need to build more. Fingers crossed that Trengove gets back. Petracca on field is a gun. That's "two recruits" (say our prayers). Aim for 10 wins minimum in 2016. Then bring in Prestia and finals IMO in 2017.
