TRADES, DELIST, PROMOTE
In terms of trade targets, Darcy Tucker from Freo across half back is the type of player we need. Seen him a few times now and like his style. Tough kid. Great footskills and accurate delivery. Hopefully we might get in his ear for a return to VIC.

NON MFC: Round 4
Yes I like Jesse but he has really dropped. His body language and fitness is letting him down.

NON MFC: Round 4
Yes I was thinking the same. Young is the type of player we NEED. Composed. Excellent delivery. Quarterback half back. Jackson is good but will take time and is a Perth boy so Freo and Eagles will be into him for $$$ & go home factor. if he becomes a star.

Fixture 2020 (COVID Edition)
It’s cruel that one of our great national pastimes has been stripped away. We all love going to the footy. It connects us. It is a social experience. My son only has a meat pie at the footy. “It tastes better at the footy”. In fact so does a cold beer. Always !! Well probably more when we are winning. Hope we can get to the live footy sometime in 2020. It’s a possibility, not a probability unfortunately.

TEAMS: Rd 04 vs Geelong
Agree. Cats have talls and smalls as forwards. Not our medium sized group of “6 footers”.

Racist Comment Targetting Nev
Racism should never be accepted. It should be noted as ignorance, born out of fear and stupidity.
-
James Harmes is being wasted
Agree. It didn’t work in a few occasions. Harmes is best as the inside mid. Competitor. He can rest forward. I’d start him on the bench and work through midfield rotations. midfield - Oliver, Petracca, Viney, Harmes, Brayshaw, Langdon.

CHANGES: Rd 04 vs Geelong
Of interest is how the Weid is travelling? Is he even in Goodwins radar
-
Heritier Lumumba
There is real ignorance and stupidity shown. It’s quite amazing that racists and bigots can be tall or short, white or blue collar or male or female. But “it was out of context “ or “light hearted fun” is not accepted, nor it should.

Proud to Belong, Proud to Give
A sign of the times. Hard times again. I’m sure a few clubs will be having a “save our skins” campaign

No judgement here. Given our performance over many years, alcohol consumption and addiction to serious pain medication are forgiven. (Please consult your health professional and gamble responsibly)

Fixture 2020 (COVID Edition)
That would be ridiculous. We would be on Fox again. I guess after our poor 2019, we can’t expect anything but a Royal bugg&@$ing off the AFL.

What happens to the draft in 2020
Other clubs can survive with 6/7 mids. I’d hold onto both Brayshaw and Viney. There is no targets imo worth giving up club culture to get.

Fixture 2020 (COVID Edition)
Either would be good. They’ll feel the cold after being in the GC for 4 weeks !!

Fixture 2020 (COVID Edition)
WOW. Maybe Vic clubs could play in Perth at 10am do they can fly home before curfew. !!

How Important was Spargo
Just watch the final v Eagles and then in 2019. His disposal was poor (to be fair) and tackling was non existent. Certainly went backwards. Not sure at 173 cms that the kid has any tricks to succeed at AFL level. He’s not a Harvey or Gresham with pace and energy.

CASEY: 2020 Fixture & News
Might be worth a phone call to Brandon White, ex Saint who signed on with Beaconsfield footy club for 2020. Local boy who would fit in nicely, with good size (6”3) and speed.
-
Fixture 2020 (COVID Edition)
That’s 3 interstate trips in the first 6 weeks. Ridiculous. Agree that Demons will DESERVE three MCG games for rounds 7-9. Suggest v Magpies v Giants v Bulldogs.
-
Fixture 2020 (COVID Edition)
I like it. A July/August hub with games v Lions v Suns v Saints would be a good outcome. Weather would be okay and good to avoid southern winter. We have already travelled to Perth so safe from that. Other possibility is Tassie hub with Hawks, Kangas and perhaps Swans. I like it, though August in Tassie would be frosty “cool”.

What happens to the draft in 2020
Yes agree that ANB is most likely trade option. May seek better $ and contract and game opportunities elsewhere (Crows??). They’d offer a pick 35-40 likely.

Fixture 2020 (COVID Edition)
Odds of Grand Final in WA have shortened from 100,000-1 to 5,000-1. Might get 60,000 at optus stadium versus nil at MCG. I don’t like it !!

Fixture 2020 (COVID Edition)
We’ve already played Eagles so no way we are going! Hope Pies and Blues move there for 3 games. Potential to get ancrowd at Magpies v Blues at optus stadium !!!

What happens to the draft in 2020
Have to trade a top 15 player or package Round 2 and a player. I’d sit it out right now. Difficult year to gauge talent plus we have nucleus of team. I didn’t think we’d be active but players may seek trade or return home or better contract $$ elsewhere. You never know
