2021 Player Reviews: #21 Marty Hore
Itโs a cruel sport sometimes. Thought he had potential. Two years killed off by injury.

Stick it on a wall. Hmmmm. $1000. Stuck on a wall. I love the Premiers $295 print !! Booked it and Iโve got the weg and mark knight posters for a combined $70 spend but Iโm also importantly spending my $$$ onโฆ I love the tshirts, the hoodie, the key ring, the cap, the stubby holder, the beach towel. Theyโre mobile. Anything that tells everyone else that Iโm a Demon fanatic and we are Premiers ๐.- EVERY ANGLE: New look at Dees' flag-winning burst
Magnificent Spine chilling Gets me pumped up every time very emotional when Clarry raises the arm and signals after the goal, thatโs when I dared to dream that weโd win and we did ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐- Petty Re-Signs Until End of 2025
Great news !!! Petty really showed us what we saw glimpses of before his injury. Gotta love our future with such young guns who can keep improving.- Merch/Memorabilia
Love all the merchandise so far. Anything with Premiers 2021 ๐ Its amazing still. Premiers. Wow - anything that says we won it!!! Iโm still pinching myself What a year! What a game !!!- eth-dog's 2021 Phantom
I thought GWS or Sydney would be the most likely to steal Andrew in the first round. Both need young development rucks.- 2021 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Yes definitely will appeal given his size and pace. Knevitt would probably appeal to the Cats at pick 22 if he lasted that long. It might be another chance for the Dees to get Chris Scott angry ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ- POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
Yes happy 4 week anniversary Go Dees Premiers 2021 ๐- The Grand Final Rematch
Yes I suggested earlier in the thread that perhaps Dees v cats in RD1 2022 would be good at the G. Really smash those cats bastards and inflict more pain on arrogant Chris the tool Scott.- Merch/Memorabilia
Herald Sun Weg laminated poster just arrived. ๐๐ป- The comeback of draft smokies?
Whilst not exactly a โSmokeyโ, Iโd like nominate Connor Macdonald as a player to note. Played excellent schoolboy footy for Haileybury in the APS competition and in limited games also showed plenty for Dandenong Stingrays. Heโs the sort of midfielder that is really good at run and carry but also can win his own footy. His versatility to play across midfield, half back or half forward presents as a good draft option. Probably our 2nd round pick could see him shoot up into contention to become a Demon.- Welcome to Demonland - Pick 17
Agreed. Unlikely options (unlikely to be available) are Andrew, Sinn, Sonsie or Goater. Likely available options possibly are JVR, Chesser, Roberts or Wilmot.- The Grand Final Rematch
Yes home games of course to unfurl the flag. Big 90000 back at the G ๐- 2021 AFL Draft - Medium Defenders
Interesting write ups. Josh Sinn is the standout here, and Wilmot is probably ranked 19-24 range. The main player here that I think Dees could be looking at is Lewis Rayson with our pick โ37โ. One of 5-6 certainly for this range. His speed and excellent kicking bring him into calculations. Heโs all class with the footy. Doesnโt waste it. Impressed in the SA v WA game.- 2021 Phantom Draft
#17 Andrew. #37 Williams # 49 Willis # match Woey jnr. Cat B Moniz-Wakefield. Andrew lasting to 17 is ultra optimistic. Dees would have to grab him if he gets there imv. ๐ค Williams lasting to end of 2nd round is a prayer. Freo would be crazy to let him slip. ๐ง Janeโs Willis showed plenty as inside/outside mid and across forward, and and would be a very good pickup in 3rd round.๐๐ป Woey ๐๐ป Moniz-Wakefield as a cat B ๐ค๐๐ป- 2021 Player Reviews: #13 Clayton Oliver
That was the moment. My confidence soared. Weโd kicked 7 in a row to obliterate the Dogs. Clarry knew it. He showed we are number 1. Great year young man. Clarryโฆ youโre a champion. !!!- The Grand Final Rematch
Love v. Bombers. 90,000 crowd. Ticketed. $$$$s. Friday night. Bang bang bang bang !!!!!- The Grand Final Rematch
Iโm loving the club right now but this feels wrong. Most clubs that lose the GF rebound the next year to defeat their conquerors. Itโs basic human motivation. Dees should look to get round 1 versus a club like Crows. Gets us away to a positive start.- POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
Brayshaw. Petracca. Sparrow. Oliver. Bang bang bang bang. James Brayshaw called it !!!!- Mac Andrew
Yes itโs a Russian Roulette situation. I wouldnโt be so sure that Lions would pass him by. They have pick โ18โ after us and would likely try to pick Mac if he was available. Just my view.- Mac Andrew
It will be interesting to see if Mac is available at the Dees pick. I think itโs highly unlikely. If he was available, Iโd think we would grab him. Itโs a shame the NGA rules changed and we are the club to be impacted. But hey who cares, we are Premiers! ๐ ( screw them ๐คฃ)- 2021 Phantom Draft
Tough one this year once again. I think a lot of random amateurs like me only have limited capacity and capabilities. Iโve watched some of the local SANFL and WAFL where possible and the SA-WA Under19s matches. Combine results also skewed to SA-WA. Hard to gauge our local Vic metro youngsters given lockdown over past 2 years and restrictions. Perhaps only go with the Cal Twomey ratings and blend with the SA-WA youngsters. Interesting that JT got over to WA with the Dees and was able to see many of the WA youngsters live. Obviously gives them an advantage yet JT โญ๏ธ picked 3 Vic metro boys last year so hard to call.- Merch/Memorabilia
Given weโve waited so long for a premiership, Iโm spending up big time. You cannot assume it will happen again so need to enjoy the moment and of course indulge in the merchandise as much as possible. My wardrobe and study will become a shrine to the 2021 premiership. ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐- 2021 AFL Draft - Medium Forwards
Blake Howes is the obvious player in this group. I saw vision of playing for Sandringham under 18s. Not unlike Archie Perkins. Athletic type 190cm. Perhaps taller half forward role. Heโs not in the frame for our first round โ17โ and likely would be gone by our 2nd round โ37โ pick. One youngster who JT may have on the โ37โ radar is Charlie Molan (I donโt know if heโs any relation to Luke Molan from our 2001 draft class). He looks a likely type. Wing /half forward. Strong at the footy and has the endurance base to play โup and backโ running outside mid role. From Ballarat. Best and fairest winner for Rebels in under 18 this year. Rather strangely he was named back pocket for TAC 2021 Under18 team of the year. - Merch/Memorabilia
