  1. I reckon we have 10 genuine stars in the squad and more up and coming. Votes are shared around and it shows the quality of this team. A great bond that is not measured by money. It is measured by the enjoyment of the game and the high quality produced. Go the Dees ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
  2. Yes I vote no to Chol. He’s not the answer.
  3. McAdam plus … I think (in my view) we will need a backup ruck/forward !! At least as a plan B in case Maxy gets injured or needs a rest!! Otherwise yes 4 new draftees plus Kynan Brown would be handy.
  4. Ok. Just a thought. We move on !!
  5. If not Mckercher, Sanders ⭐️ would be fine.
  6. Jack Darling’s resume reads: premiership player, All Australian, 5 time club leading goalkicker and Eagles life member. Has played 20+ games for year. Contract expires end 2024. 31 yo. 510 goals. 1300 marks. Sure age is a factor. But whilst we are in the premiership window and having key forwards still developing, is he worthy of a phone call? Just a thought …just an opinion
  7. What we do reckon we would have to give to Crows for McAdam? A future 3rd round. ??? Or Straight swap for Harmesy ??? 🥲🤔
  8. The Dragons’ midfielder Charlie Edwards is considered a late bolter for draft selection. I think he will be a pick around the early 20s !!! I hope he’s in the Dees sights.
  9. Both are cooked. Only the remaining 1-year of their contracts keeping them for announcing retirements in my view. Unfortunately Brown could not move during and after games he played. He’s a great bloke, a premiership player , but his body (knee) has now let him down.
  10. Daicos might even poll in games that he didn’t even play 🤣🤣🤣that’s the AFL way !!
  11. no no no no no no no no no no and no
  12. Good news if Sanders is available. Either Mckercher or Sanders would be perfect for the Dees. Either imv would be ready made players for round 1 2024 and have elite skills.
  13. Mckercher would be an early Xmas gift for the Dees.
  14. The AFL also gave North the right to an additional two rookies on the list - a measure aimed at allowing the club to keep younger players while bringing in more mature talent. Sources familiar with the AFL’s draft assistance package for the Kangaroos said the future picks had to be used in trades this year or they would cease to exist. North Melbourne have not had the problem of key players leaving the club. Confused!!!! Why end of first round pick in 2024 and end of second round 2024???? That’s draft help over 3 years !!!! 2022. 2023. 2024. They got picks as assistance last year ‘ 22 which they used it to get Logue and Tucker. Agree with end of first round 2023. Okay. But not 2024 I’d also given them priority access to two players from state leagues. Like Suns got and they picked up Josh Corbett and Chris Burgess. It’s a help but not a huge gift.
  15. Harsh but fair. Harsh but true. Harsh but …it’s footy so give ‘em hell. Maynard is their face. And it’s an ugly vile loathsome one !!!
  16. Sorry @BDA to disagree. We could have beaten either team last night. I wouldn’t be afraid of playing either. We have to ability to beat anyone and win it. Put us against anyone and we’re a big chance. Just for the record. Pies and Blues didn’t beat us. Dees lost it. Both times. What hurts is we only have ourselves to blame in both games. So so so so (etc ) chances to win both games. (And ps. we were minus Gus,Petty,Melksham)
  17. So departures from 2023 look like...so far Out: Grundy, Hibberd, Dunstan, Jordon, D. Smith (r) Question marks on ????? TMCD, BBB, Harmesy, K.Turner
  18. We will be a contender without doubt in 2024. We have the star power still but work to do to get back to the summits 1- sort out forward 50 entries by Mids 2- work out forward line strategy ( new forwards coach) and yeah goalkicking accuracy 3- more aggressive quicker ball movement strategy, and running and using the corridor 4- better run with injury incl late in the year 5-refresh the list with added players to cover key areas (young running Mids) (McAdam as an opportunist goalkicker) (backup ruck/fwd to support Gawn) core group without known additions Key Backs. May⭐️⭐️Lever⭐️ Petty* ⭐️Tomlinson Turner Jsmith* Med/sml backs. Rivers Bowey Salem Mcvee mids. Trac.⭐️ ⭐️Clarry⭐️⭐️. JV7⭐️ Gus⭐️ 🙏🏽 Sparrow (Laurie) Runners. Lingers Hunter (Woey jnr) (Howes) Key Fwds. Petty* JVR (Jsmith*) med/small fwds Fritsch⭐️ Pickett⭐️ ANB Melksham🙏🏽 Spargo Chandler (AMW) Rucks Gawn⭐️⭐️

  20. This sums up the umpiring last night
  21. Bont has to be the favourite. Stood out for the Dogs. Likely 27 votes. Daicos gets 25-26 votes. Trac might end up around 23-24 depending on how they give him votes. Should poll in 10-11 games at least so a big chance if he gets the 2s and 3s
  22. am I happy to see Collingwood in the GF??
  23. Hogan !!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
  24. Same as ours but 50s got paid !!! Pies moving into the area. Had to stand !!!
