NON-MFC: Round 02
Pies got crucified by the umps. Free kicks were Saints 30 Pies 15. Higgins goal from the 3rd row was a nail into the pies hearts. Umps were shocking. Pies were massacred by the umps. It was beautiful to watch 🤣🤣😊😊🤣🤣😊😊

Welcome to Demonland: Blake Howes
Round 1 his 2nd game. Good snapshot from the Age footy … Howes stands out for Demons Lost in the wash of how bad the Demons were in Opening Round was the quality of the debut of Blake Howes for the Demons. He was even better on Sunday against the Dogs. He is so clean with his ball use, particularly by foot. He was denied a brave and clever mark running back with the flight when Jake Lever pushed Cody Weightman under the ball, but he shows he has an aerial side to his game. He has composure with the ball and makes the right decisions.

Marquee Targets for the Tassie Devils
Tassie hardly presents as an attractive option. They’ll give them a huge salary cap war chest to fill up on over priced targets. Spargo can go with my blessing. 🤣🤣

Welcome to Demonland: Ricky Mentha
I think Tassie Devils should be allowed access to any player for the next 11 years. Starting with all NGA listed players from any region on the planet.

Hypotheticals on Tasmania entry concessions
Devils to get draft picks 1,3,5,7, 19,21,23,25 in draft “two years” before into competition then draft picks 1,4,7, 10,13, 19, 22, 25 in the draft prior to coming into the competition that’s 16 draft picks to acquire the best young talent. Must trade at least 3 of these picks to clubs to acquire ready to go players free agent sign up availability priority access to delisted free agents etc access to any father sons from the TSL, VFL or AFL playing above 100 games.

Good news week (positive news only)
Blue sky outlook Round one 2024 1. Petty back in Casey 👍🏻 2. Marty Hore back at MFC and his first game after 1667 days. Was very good. 3. Clarry. What a star. ⭐️. Burst through the centre and knew he was back. Looked strong. We love ya Clarry 👏👏👏 4. Billings. Jack was back. Had a perfect game as the link into the forward 50. He’s not a brute but he’s what we need. A connector. 👏👏👏 5. Max Gawn. Bounced back. Best English to reclaim number 1 ruck mantle. 👏👏👏 6. May. Lost the first contest then bounced back to be captain in defence. Marked or defended everything. 👏👏👏 7. The voltaren worked for Tmcd and BBB. Both contributed today. Not great but not carried by any means. They can come back next week. 8. Winning at the G again. After the finals losses, we needed the win !!! Go Dees. Let’s run the positive but make sure it’s not just corporate spin !!!

weak as … 😡 … surely a $5000 fine as a penalty for his arrogance and stupidity Collingwood big man Mason Cox has been reprimanded by the AFL for pushing GWS ruck coach Shane Mumford in a bizarre incident before their opening-round match. After apologising on Monday for making contact with Mumford, Cox will have no further action taken against him after the AFL completed their investigation. Noting Cox’s contrition and the club’s commitment in supporting him to be more aware in the future, the AFL has determined to issue a reprimand to Cox and take no further action,” the league statement read
