Walter is obviously but he’s already zoned to GCS. I think Morris is the best available key forward. Reminds me a lot of Larkey from his draft year. BTW just an opinion.

Positives 1- biggest improver - Judd Mcvee. Mcvee : Definitely have found a very good player. Special mentions to JVR as a key forward and Trent Rivers who developed into defender and attacking running player 2- Harry Petty. Disappointments 1- finals exit in two heartbreaking losses 2- the goalkicking and attacking strategy (forward 50) got worse as the year progressed 3- loss by less than a goal v port, blues and giants when we dominated 4- Grundy experiment failed and then was quickly expelled from the team 5- injuries: Clarry injury drama and 7 weeks out. Petty season ending. Melksham season ending. 6- Worst loss. Finals x2 and vs Bombers 7- Gus getting knocked out by Maynard. Careless. Head high. Severe. Yet tribunal manufactured a release for Maynard. Disgraceful.

Very nice kick for goal. He has the base physique of a key forward and it would be good if the Dees gave him an opportunity.

Moir is a huge talent. Injury and supposedly work ethic questioned. Hmmm sounds like Darling. Moir has to be still strongly considered. He’s a good mover. A good mark. A proven goalkicker. Left foot. Right foot. Lots of work to do to get to know the kid. Is he really keen on footy? I mean lives it. If not, you’d question talent being enough. Plenty of huge talent don’t have to drive to succeed. WTF. Sure we needed some backup ruck in case Gawn was injured who could be forward/ruck role. Grundy was never that.

We’ve known we’ve got forward half connection problems for 7 years. I’m sick of learnings. In the normal world, Goodwin would not have had his contract expended. This lack of fixing the problem is now catastrophic after 2022 and 2023. It hurts.
