  1. I like the idea of going for Rockcliff for Dunn but chucking in a future 1st rounder sounds a bit far fetched to me. You would think Dunn and a future second rounder would be enough to get the deal done.
  2. I'm on the bad luck side. If you think about it there are around 800 players in the AFL that range from 18 to 35 years of age and there are 100 new players drafted each year. Considering the average AFL player career is 6 years they are pretty low odd to get a 10 year player let alone an A Class player out of the draft.
  3. I think we have a lot more blunders then this.
  4. That's like when a hot chick try's to pick you up at a bar and your think "Are you really talking to me or just trying to get a free drink out of me"
  5. Repoted in the Age Asked if the midfielder would be happy to join the Demons should the move eventuate, Pickering said: "It's not done yet and we need to keep working on it. The reality is, let's all be mature about it, if it happens it happens." That's football talk for..... Deals done, working on which pick now. Hawthorn supporters shut your mouths and grow up.
  6. How many years at trade periods have we been sitting on this forum talking about trying to get an A Class player and we end up with D & C class players at the end of it? We finally have an A Class player nominating to come play with us and people on here don't want him because his past his prime?!? Beggars can't be choosers, at least we are finally at the stage where an out of date A Class player wants to play with us. Next year we will land an In date A Class player!! ?
  7. He would be a good leader for a couple of years until our midfield develops more then move him into coaching. It's defiantly what we needed in those close games this season.
  8. It seems like a very quiet trade period for us which feels a bit weird as past years we are quite active during this time.
  9. If this is true it will more then likely come out this week considering Adelaide are out of the hunt now.
  10. This is the exact reason we picked Watts over NicNat In the 2008 draft. I was pretty confident in keeping Hogan but now I'm hearing WC are after him too its going to be a lot harder to persuade him now. The club is bigger then any one player, I thought we played better with out him in the team against the Hawks.
  11. After sleeping on it I have decided that the players didn't go as hard as they would normally because there was really nothing to play for and none of them would want to be injured for the start of the pre season. 10 wins was a pass at the start of the season for me so I'm happy with that result at the end. I'm sure Goodwin is going to smash them on the track this pre season to prepare them for finals in 2017. Go Dees!!
  12. The most disappointing part of this lose is it was Roos last game as coach and his worst defeat. Sad end to a great coach.
  13. I don't understand what all the hype was about on this bloke. Not an A grader In my books and definitely not worth $700,000 pa
  14. The Essendon game we should have easily won will be the reason we don't play finals this year. We could have been one game out, instead we are two games out and need to some how beat Geelong at home in the final round and make up the parentage against Carlton.
  15. Screaming out that a player is useless with one last name is hard enough for us supports let a lone a play with two last names. YOUR USELESS HOSKIN - ELLIOT!! No thanks!
  16. Freo will through everything at him to keep him around. He is way to importain to there future plans to let him walk out.
  17. Fyfe has come out saying he is going to explode his opinions at the end of next year as he is a free agent. Hogan for Fyfe anyone?
  18. Never trade with Collingwood. They wouldn't trade there worst player for less then a first round pick.
  19. He seems more of a pack mark forward were Hogan is a One on one Forward which is good to have those two different types in your forward line.
  20. His Dad is right though, we have been a very under developed team who has been trying to play a defensive style of football that hasn't suited Jack. Now we are playing attacking footy and he is flourishing.
