I'm 3 hours behind being in Perth so the games starts at 10:30 here. Got a kids birthday party to attend at the same time, luckily I've the AFL live on my IPhone. Not sure if my misses would appreciate it if I was on my phone the whole time instead of socialising with other fathers. Might have to use the toilet every 30mins to watch a sneaky 5mins.

Showed real leadership when he ditched the club who drafted him for money, the only reason he was in it in the first place was to justify the big pay packet they are giving him. Still don't understand the logic in GWS offering that type of money to a second year midfielder when they could have picked up a dozen like him in the draft, Oh well GWS were the loses in that deal IMO.

AFL supporters have bad goldfish syndrome, if we play bad against GWS in round one it will be doom a gloom again but if we string a few wins together the past 10 year will be forgotten in a blink of an eye.

I don't think the game plan is going too change to much from the NAB challenger just because Roos will take back the box on game day, do you? This is Simons team at the end of the season so you would think Roos will be showing Goody the types of changers he will need to make on game day with his game plan to make it work when we're losing. It wouldn't surprise me if SG will be coaching in the box by the end of the season and Roos will be sitting at ground level with the players.

This is just the Tigers jumping on Eddies Media attention bandwagon. This will never happen, the AFL will buy Docklands stadium for $1 in a few years and everything will be fine so why is this even a topic of conversation?? Melbourne is becoming the city of stadiums.

How does Petracca seem to be in almost ever round 1 team on this site when the guy hasn't played a game for us yet? Is he really that good that he can just walk in after no football for 12 months?? I would have Trengove ahead of him, I know his been out for 2 years but at least he has actually played at AFL level.

I think the biggest proplem is everyone thought Essendumb where going to pick the best reserve players across the land as there top up, instead they picked up a few really good delisted players but There is a reason why the top up players were all delisted at the end of the 2015 season, They're all past there prime and there body's are cooked. they will compete in the first half of the season but when they get injured is when they are going to struggle.

It looked like he intentionally went to bump and got the player in the head so that will probably be a week only because there wasn't any injury to the other player otherwise it would be longer.

He got ride of an average high draft pick which we replaced with a quality young forward. I would say that's great leadership.

If we thought this deal was going to grow into the Tasmania/Hawk partnership we were kidding our selves. Watching those games live was a joke with only a couple of people standing around the ground, it looked more like an EFL game then an AFL game. I'm sure PJ is working on getting another sponsor to replace the NT money so we can be done with this train reck and move on from the past.
