  1. I really think Jack doesn't get talked up as much as he deserved, i personally think he's every bit as good as the Bont, Cripps or any young mid in the comp,
  2. I quite like where they're placed to be honest, I see May and Lynch as two of the best young key position players in the comp Rory Thompson is a handy second tall defender, Wright and Day are more than handy forwards Martin, Sexton, Lonergan and co though the middle, and some top end talent coming through the draft and i reckon they'll be okay in 2 years time
  3. McCarthey - Freo's third round pick ( surely they couldn't ask more Lobb & one of the Giants picks 14ish - Freo's pick 4 Hill& third rounder - pick 14 they will get some compo for Mayne as well i suspect.
  4. When this deal is done (assuming the Suns get pick 6 off the Tigers ) they'll go into the draft with 3 top 10 picks, and if O'meara leaves i'd assume they'll get something significant for him as well
  5. would depend on what we'd have to give up for him i reckon
  6. I'd say a later pick Chaser, i don't think it'll be much at all, the Suns rate Prestia as worthy of a top 12 pick, and the Tigers think he is worth sort of the 10-15 mark so i'd say it'll be say 6-Prestia and a 3rd rounder or fringe player who probably wouldn't get much of a run
  7. I think most of, if not all of that list could be traded or delisted, can't see any being part of the long term future besides maybe Trengove and ANB if they find another gear
  8. I will add to this that i have heard Richmond are seriously considering offering up pick 6 for Prestia and they're hoping something else
  9. what's the confusion Rjay? simply saying not all announcements happen right away, the bigger ones can be timed to get the best response.
  10. Our mini elimination final, this is as close to a knockout final as we've played in for a while, if we win this i suspect we'd probably beat the Blues and go into a Cats game that we won last year on the back of 4 in a row and real momentum. i can't see North winning again this year, and i think the Swans will beat the Saints which means the Saints have to make up a big % gap on North to play finals, where our gap with them is far more manageable over 3 games.
  11. Purely speculation but it did sound a bit like he was going away to have a good think about where his life is at.
  12. Yup, Hogan signing will be significant, the club will want to milk it for as much as it's worth, these sort of signings can often happen a long time before anyone hears about them, they just wait for the right moment to announce it.
  13. Will recieve 17 large offers
  14. I am quite excited to see what he produces next year with another full pre season and serious gym time to put on some size, i think he'll be better than his brother in 2 years time.
  15. Who's that leave unsigned? Terlich, Trengove, Dawes, King, Kennedy-Harris ??
  16. and sponsored by Ronald McDonald, Cameron Lings twin brother.
  17. Jay Clark claiming it's confirmed 2 years for both Oscar and Tom
  18. When we win this year we average above 45 points as a result of intercept turnover, Tom is our best intercept player by a mile, but also a very good defender, literally the only downside is his skills/decision making can be suspect at time, but as others have mentioned, Rance went through a similar phase.
  19. Give it a rest mate, it's not even a thread about Jesse.
  20. Didn't Mach5 call this a few days ago? bloody awesome if true.
  21. From what i've heard the club is really keen to sign a big name player this off season if at all possible, obviously Hibberd is a good player but i reckon we'd be keen on one of Prestia, Mitchell, Hurley, Crouch and i wouldn't be surprised if offers are ramped up a notch in the coming weeks to see what we can get over the line, i suspect a lot of this depends on what the Mcdonald brothers decide to do, i think re-signing those two would be more significant than signing say a Dion Prestia.
  22. I'd be having a very serious look at Brad Crouch, he's in great form at the minute, and his off field stuff seems to have knocked him behing O'meara, Prestia and Mitchell, I reckon he's very gettable and has the explosive attributes that would really add to our midfield
  23. Plus chances are in two years the player will want out and vic clubs will get a crack at them anyways.
  24. I suspect if the Lions move Leppa on he's someone who could put his hand up for that role, given he has a history at their club and seems to be seen as ready for a senior role, if not i'd not be upset if he came to the Dees as an assistant coach.
