It's the Age I reckon, a young team that's being told to play on and attack will revert to bombing long if they don't see a really obvious option open up, it's why we look fantastic at times and awful and predictable others. With experience we will get better at knowing when to go and when to hold it up. The reason I think we will play the saints is 1. Their form has been awful they have only fallen over the line vs the eagles in the last four weeks. They have roo out of the game as well as joey both normally destroy us.

I'd be happy for jetta to play a shut down role on membery we desperately need jack Viney and jack watts back to their best to win this game and go on and make finals. I think we'll definitely see hannan back in the side, not sure on brayshaw

I'll seen zero information from anyone I know involved in the mfc or anywhere else that suggestes there is a micro of truth to the idea we'd shop Jesse hogan around, I doubt we'd accept the deal for lever and McGovern. Jesse is a freakish talent who if he'd played all year without the injuries and off field stuff would probably be top 3 in the Coleman and we'd probably be locked In the 8, he's been a massive loss and we will be so much better in 2018 with him back in the side

The club is in huge trouble and if I were an assistant I'd think twice before taking the job. I think they do need to look at the transition model if nothing else just to get 5 years of the same thing without the temptation to sack someone again

I don't remember a kick from Nathan jones that didn't go straight to a giants player. Was just really dumb footy by us today

I think the way the game is played with zones you're almost happy to go in undersized because any long kick to that big full forward becomes dangerous. If they don't make it guys like hunt and hibberd are able to move it very quickly back the other way and we can score. Lever is an unbelievable reader of the game and will really add to this area.

Midfield depth is back and some of the younger guys will be better for having had the opportunity
