So is Nathan jones and we'd want more than a first rounder for him if he requested a trade
-
I actually think they do pretty well considering.
-
Unrestricted free agent and a clear upgrade on someone like Mitch hannan or James harmes. Surely worth a look?
-
Might become very tempting to the lions if stef Martin leaves
-
Liam Hulett is a better prospect and we will likely delist him
-
Would be a massive win if we could somehow keep it
-
Surely we'd have to look at getting a three way trade done with the crows and blues although the blues are known to greatly overrate their own players. This is evident with SOS cleaning out all his picks from the giants My complicated attempt would be we send sam frost and our second rounder ( 28) to the crows for their first rounder (16-18) we send (16-18) and 2018 second round pick for Bryce Gibbs. Bryce Gibbs goes to Adelaide in exchange for jake lever jake lever comes to us. Crows get Gibbs, frost and a second rounder for a first rounder and lever we get lever for frost and 2 second rounders blues get a first and a second rounder for Gibbs we get jake lever into the club and retain our pick number 10 and 2018 pick

He's never had great coaching which makes me wonder if Macca goody and co might be able to get him to play at his best a lot more consistently

Lachie Whitfield, Jake Lever, and other trade rumours
Ted Lasso replied to Xavierrodway's topic in Melbourne Demons
It's basically word for word what the whisperer dude said on twitter. Robbo is a joke. get this, he blocked me on twitter because I asked if he knew what a shower was. -
Hannan hasn't had nearly the opportunity Kent has and took his spot. Another pre season and improved tank and I'd have hannan comfortably ahead of Kent.

Lachie Whitfield, Jake Lever, and other trade rumours
Ted Lasso replied to Xavierrodway's topic in Melbourne Demons
Jake lever if he comes will be a massive addition. A young all Australian standard intercept defender is definitely what we need. Id also be asking the question if lachie Whitfield. If we landed both it'd be a dream off seasin -
Martin on 1.3 mil Prestia on 750-800k rance on im guessing 750k - 1 mil rewoldt and Cotchin the same
-
Yep trade for me, I think he has some currency and his skills/decision making look like preventing him becoming the player he might be otherwise
-
Dogs have chased him the last couple of years
-
I think he's a real project player. He's already an upgrade on garland and frost and possibly even pushing oscar. Had a lot of room to improve
-
I would simply because I don't think vince is good enough to play that role. One year as a player and moving into an assistant coach role. Woudl cost us nothing and his experience and composure could be handy.
-
God I hope so! I'd love to see our boys come out ruthless and breathing fire and make the pies doubt the decision to re-sign bucks right away
-
His "exclusive" on Jesse hogan last year was proof he has no idea.
-
With the new pay deal it's about the same as $650k last year I reckon. Still borderline overs but he's definitely A Grade and you have to pay overs to lure guys like that
-
Bahahahahahahaha god he's a hypocrite.
-
That's definitely something for the coaches to work on. We will go nowhere if we can't start boosting our % in those games not losing or falling over the line in them. We need to be ruthless
-
the players I see as trade bait for the right offer dom Tyson tom McDonald aaron vandenberg jay Kennedy Harris billy stretch Christian Salem sam weideman
-
I honestly think the players thought there was little chance west coast could knock off the crows ( as I did as well) and that acted as a safety net in their minds and they didn't bring the effort needed early. I agree though. My expectations are finals and pushing for top 4. If we aren't in the conversation for top 4 going into the final two rounds it's probably a failed season based on our talent and the likely addition of jake lever. I think injuries probably cost us 2-3 wins this year and mental weakness probably the same again. We were only genuinely beaten a handful of times which is a positive. Min 2018 we should have no fear of any team at all.
-
I'd consider Aaron hall who I think In a better side with some real development coaches could be a seriously good outside mid. Hed probably cost us our second rounder which is happily part with to land him. We clearly lack a key back, and speed and kicking skills through the middle

No i certainly don't. But I also don't buy the idea that Oliver isn't damaging enough, of course he's going to become a lot more damaging as he kicks more but his inside game is absolutely elite. I think he's definitely top 40 and probably just missing the team itself
