WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
Last thing they'll want is a very public reminder about what they did given all the positive press they have somehow been given recently, i reckon they should take pick 27 and run to be honest.

27 & 45 for Hibberd and 55? solid second round pick and a good upgrade for their third rounder

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
The bombers need to realise he's been out of the AFL system for 12 months, there is no way of knowing how long it will take these players to re-adjust to that lifestyle, and training and if they'll be able to deliver right away, i have no doubt these players will be a long way below their best. personally think pick 27 is a little generous if anything.

That's exactly why that decision was made last year, clearly it was felt that We needed a young foil for Hogan and Weideman was more talented than any of the key talls in this years draft, personally very happy with the outcome there.

Ed Langdon
I think he has some ability but it really depends what we'd have to give up, if it were a swap for a third round pick i'd probably look at it.

Grimes, Dunn and Garland would be silly not to look at options Trengove i think will be rookied, i really think a full pre season and he'll be a chance to break into the side and lock down a spot, he's certainly playing very solid footy at Casey

I think most of, if not all of that list could be traded or delisted, can't see any being part of the long term future besides maybe Trengove and ANB if they find another gear

Purely speculation but it did sound a bit like he was going away to have a good think about where his life is at.

I think it's a combination of Coaching/bad luck, they have had some injuries but i think they have some talent and should be losing by 138 points.. Personally i think a side with Rockliff, Beams, Christiensen, Zorko, Martin, Hanley, Taylor and co in it should think they can compete with most sides, maybe not win, but they're better than 2 wins at 56 % or whatever they are at the moment.

they'd all be in the first 10 players selected at the Lions.

I wonder if Dawesy would be of interest to a side like Brisbane who need basically everything, package Dawes and Garland up for them

Fair chance Dean Terlich won't be sticking around.

Billy Stretch Appreciation Thread
Just does exactly what the coaches tell him to do, doesn't sook if he gets dropped just goes back, works on what he's told and it reflects in his game. he's our Issac Smith

Simon Goodwin - coach in waiting...
I think we'll see Goody turn over the coaching group a little bit when he comes in, personally think Rawlings might well move on anyway, he's been around a while and wants a senior role. Maybe Goody could get someone like his old mate Bassett in as a backline coach? I also think they'll target another experienced coach to replace Roosy, with Macca going to keep focusing on the development programs and so on.

The Incredible Hulk - Jesse Hogan
If we can offer Danger the sort of money we apparently did then surely we can pay Jesse whatever he's asking for. I understand the importance of not selling out our future for one player but surely the club has been expecting Jesse to demand a huge contract for a long time and has been planning accordingly to allow us to keep him.

The Incredible Hulk - Jesse Hogan
He's definitely got a bit to work on with his attitude, i'm really confident Sam Weiderman holds the key to this not happening anymore, when he comes in and shows how talented he is the three pronged attack of Watts, Hogan, Weiderman will be far to dangerous for Hogan to be double and triple teamed and he'll be able to build that confidence in game much easier on a week to week basis.

The Incredible Hulk - Jesse Hogan
One of the best posts i've seen on this site in a long time Jesse isn't perfect, and we probably rely on him far more than we'd like considering his age/experience, i do believe Jesse is just starting to understand we can win games if he doesn't dominate so the pressure to destroy opposition has lifted a little and he does seem to be enjoying things a little more. He isn't great defensively but he works bloody hard, so i'm sure over time that will improve, he leads right up the ground and goes behind the ball and he's really becoming a very good all round player for us.

The Incredible Hulk - Jesse Hogan
Hahahaha contract should be reduced... that's hilarious. Jesse Hogan is the wet dream of 17 other coaches, the most talented young forward in the comp by a mile and doing things no other forward in the history of the game has done at his age. we will pay him whatever we have to if it means keeping him because he's just that good. this is our Wayne Carey 2.0

The youngest most inexperienced side
I really like Jayden Hunt and i think even if those three were all in and in form he'd still be in the side.
