Nice reminder why Jesse Hogan is still our best and most talented young player.

Petraccas best game in a while. what i've been super impressed with is the lowering of the eyes and delivering the ball inside the forward 50. not just bombing it to Hogans head.

Is getting fined for staging still a thing? if so Rhys Maitherson will have to sell his house to cover the fines.. the block has ducked 7-8 times clearly already. fortunately it seems on the most part the umpires know he's a sneaky little [censored] and aren't buying into it

I mean when max had the ball smashed out of his hand it was exactly what Hogan did... wasn't 50 though. would have been if it were a lions player. I think it's time to send a please explain off. there were multiple examples of them getting frees and the same thing happens to us and it's play on. Hogan and Garlett have been held so much the opposition might as well be stitched to them.

we've also been missing Gawn, Hogan, Viney, Jones and other key players for extended periods of times this season. I suspect if we had Gawn or Hogan we would have beaten Freo and Hawks if we hadn't been smashed by Injury we would have knocked off Richmond and probably both North games was more due to attitude so can't really count those

Watts is a class player and I find the suggestions of trading him amusing to be honest. We are not going to get anything as good as jack in return. And his best is clearly in our best 10 players

I'd probably swap weid and watts and that's about it. We should be to strong all over the ground over four quarters but they are far from a bad team

If hogan plays again before finals he is super human. That's a jack Viney like effort and will be playing in pain.

He has been ultra consistent all year. And I think he'll improve quite a lot when he improves his kick to handball ratio because he's a beautiful kick. Scary how good he could become

we need watts in form to impact in finals. Simple as that

I work with three saints supporters and they were so upset to lose, they think their team has gone backwards and I agree with them. What was most pleasing from my point of view is that was a finals like game and our boys basically all stood up, while the saints had a handful who played okay

I actually think he's been going okay. Not setting the world on fire but doing some nice things, bit like harmes on the weekend his turn for a lick of the ice cream will come

Weid competed really well, I suspect goody would have just wanted him to provide a target and give the smalls a chance. Id be reluctant to change the side. Have to take the lions as seriously as the saints, if we turn up thinking it's already won they will beat us easily.
