Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
And the other thing to add to this is lever is an established star, and that's a lot better than your standard pick 4 which is a gamble and might land you jimmy Toumpas. Our first pick and frost would have to be the starting point. Perhaps their 2017 second rounder for our 2018 first rounder as an upgrade?

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
So the hyperhetical trade would be our first pick and sam frost? Surely that's a Major win for us to land a bloke like lever.

- Josh Kelly
I've heard Richmond have an offer for him that's as good as any if dusty does go.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Would our first rounder and dean Kent get it over the line?- Josh Kelly
I don't think it's financially viable for us to spend the sort of money it'd take to get Kelly. We have a lot of young stars to re-sign as much as he'd be a perfect fit. Plus I doubt we could satisfy a trade for him and lever without giving up a young gun.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Lever has said publicly there are four factors to this decision 1. Money. We can offer him the $$$ he wants 2. Family, his family are in vic 3. Team success, well we should play finals this year and keep the upward trend with him coming on board 4. Hasn't been confirmed but I've heard his mrs wants to move back to Melbourne- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I think the way the game is played with zones you're almost happy to go in undersized because any long kick to that big full forward becomes dangerous. If they don't make it guys like hunt and hibberd are able to move it very quickly back the other way and we can score. Lever is an unbelievable reader of the game and will really add to this area.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Tyson won't leave melbourne, we won't trade him. Even if they offered a straight swap- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I think they'll want a pick and a player. And I doubt we'll be keen to ship off both first rounders 2017 second rounder, 2018 first rounder and Alex Neal bullen- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Apparently he met with Goody, Todd Viney, Nathan Jones and Jack Viney and we've made a pretty strong pitch. I don't get the sense this is even close to over the line but lots of people are saying our offer is as good or better than any other on the table.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
If we make a godfather offer to someone tom lynch from the suns would be a good target at the end of next year- Who will be the next Dees Brownlow Winner
- Zak Jones
I think he replaces Vince and plays off half back with stints in the midfield.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Jake lever and Zak jones would be a dream result if we could pull it off.. jones would add pace and precision and lever would be a rock in our backline for a decade- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
I think he is more bias than Eddie.. he can be hard to watch if the bombers have had a win. And suggesting fantasia had had a better year than Garlett is just laughable- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
Michael hibberd - 2017 best and fairest and recruit or the year leading Melbourne to its finals appearance in a decade.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
And he will get better. It will happen less and less often as he gets more experience and he'll become smarter with ball in hand. I think he has massive upside as our third tall defender with oscar and hopefully lever- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Frost does some amazing things and he's improved a lot this season. Given where we are at I think it's about encouraging him to take the game on and back his talent and accept that he will make errors. For his mistake his marking and run and carry off half back has been a huge part of our improved form this season.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Realistically the crows would want this and next years first rounders at least for lever.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I'd up the offer to a mil a year over 6-7. He's a gun and a great young leader.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I think lever is a mil a year player under the new agreement. Kid looks like the next great key defender. Lever at one end, with frost and tommy supporting him and hogan, weid and watts up the other end with our midfield is pretty special on paper- The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised
I think paddy feels a lot more pressure as well, he is desperate to get into that side and stay there, but gus while I'm sure he's just as desperate has a lot more confidence getting himself right because we need him to be a 200 gamer for us- The Jack Viney Made Me Cry Thread
- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
The one I'd be looking at is Kelly. I still think pace and skills on the outside would be a huge boost. I'd be happy to offer 5-6 years on big money and say if you come to us you'll get money and consistent finals - Josh Kelly
