  1. We will win all of our remaining games and win the minor premiorship. Mark my words!
  2. Without question, we should have gone on the Adelaide camp.
  3. It excites me that with two games left we might not play finals with a percentage over 130%. Other fans may laugh at us while we are busy counting our millions. Ive got my mind on my money and my money on my mind, ive got no oaoer in the trash yikety yack dont go back.
  4. On the rare occasions that Kent has been able to play these past two seasons he has looked very good. He and Melksham should help in linking up from half back to half forward and delivering ball deep in our F50.
  5. I reckon Pannell is a distant relative linked in some way to the Norm Smith curse. This is good news.

Next time one of our players are interviewed they should refuse to speak and instead break into drills and practice goal kicking.
  8. We should have drafted Michael 'Juice' Newton as a rookie.
  9. I thought Gary Pert was the elephant in the room. Before he come on board Hibberd and Melksham were not injured and Vinry had not reinjured his foot. Here is a fact, did you know where Gary Pert come from? Thats right, Collingwood and what have Collingwood had lots of - Injuries. Also think of the curse Collingwood have inflicted to other clubs including Carlton (Malthouse), St Kilda (Watters), Melbourne (Neeld, Lamumba, Dawes, Ben Ken). Yet we went back to the poisoned well. For the record I dont have any issue with the Pert hiring but was feeling left out of the hysteria after a disappointing loss.
  10. Stress not my friends, will dominateafter half time and win by 8 goals. Mark my word.
  11. Yesterday I was at a cafe with my 5 year old and he told the staff that he wants to barrack for Richmond and that I wont let him, the waiter backed me and told him that he'd better fall into line and continue the family tradition if he knows what is best for him.

Im going to back Tyson to play hise 200th game for us in the next 5 seasons.
  14. Did he have a dart hanging out of his mouth?
  15. I see where you are coming from, however the law of averages would suggest that because there were complications last time that it would be very unlucky to have complications twice in a row. Its like playing black jack at the casino and losing multiple hands, possible but not likely.
  16. I reckon wait until finals and then roll the dice and pump him full of juice. Whats the worst that could happen...

Troy Maclure being clever suggesting he'd best not bite the hand that feeds him if he not want to sleep with the fishies.

I feel sympathy for Gaff while at the same time believe a significant penalty is in order if the AFL is serious about head injuries and assault. What I think should happen: 1. Gaff should be suspended for a minimum 12 games, on the basis that he can demonstrate that he intended to hit AB in the body and not the head. If the Tribunal rules it was intentional then I think 12 month ban is appropriate. Saying this I dont view Gaff as a coward or gutless or any of these things, but rather a good player with a solid reputation who did something really silly that he would massively regret. 2. AFL must suspend any player who punches another player deliberately whether clenched fist or open palm and to the head, chest, stomach etc for at least 1 game. This action should have no place on the football field, can result in incidents like the Houli, Bugg and Gaff hits, and sets a terrible example to juniors. Hearing about people whos lives have been affected by being hit in the head has toughened my stance on this and its not to punish Gaff but to use this as an opportunity to change atitudes re head injuries caused by assaults. Football is dangerous enough without players punching each other off the ball.
  20. I heard from my contacts in the WCE inner sanctum that Gaff might miss our round 22 clash resulting from an incident with Andrew Brayshaw on Sunday. Apparently it is pretty serious. Watch this space.

Gaff a star and polling well in Brownlow should reduce penalty by 1/3

    They would be furious
  23. He is playing his role well and our team is better for him in it. Im bullish that much like ANB he will be a very good player for us.

Gut punches and open palm hits should be stamped out, hand out 1 week suspensions for the most mild impact and the hitting motion will cease. FWIW i dont think Gaff, Bugg or Houli meant to hit their opponents in the face but that the line blurs between body hits and head hits. Get rid of the action.

Im going with 5 weeks. He isnt a pest like Bugg (6 weeks) but is not a celebration of multiculturism like Houli (4 weeks), however this is AFL and as a star player he may also conceivably recieve anywhere between a $1,500 fine and 3 weeks.
