Pardon my ignorance but what is the role and position of a wingman in modern football? The defensive zone on a kick out generally positions the forward as the last player in the zone and he is usually no more than 80metres from goal. Mind you I have much the same problem with the half forward line. Centre is just another name for a midfielder.
