I find in incredulous that Watts is getting all the heat. I find it equally incredulous that Frawley and Garland are not receiving the same media attention. FFS both have been around for a long time.

I know this club deserves a hit from all and sundry BUT its all getting very immature and outright stupid in some quarters of the media. Cheap shots at the MFC has become a national sport, now Fox sports numb nuts are having a crack for letting Petterd go. FFS, his cameos at the MFC hardly warrant retaining him. Lets see at the end of 2013 how the Petterds, moloneys and Gysberts of this world are travelling....my guess is not bloody much at all.

I have had a gutful of apologists for Frawley and Garland. FFS they are both experienced AFL players in our leadership group. If they can't play at the right intensity then [censored] off. These two have been in the system for long enough...no more bloody excuses. If either of them cannot make the required effort on game day, then send them back to VFL. This is not rocket science.

Every year they fill us all with the biggest load of crap and keep expecting us to swallow it. Would the Pies, Hawks, Cats, Eagles supporters put up with this shyte served up for so long? No bloody way is the answer.

The lack of PR by this administration is appalling. It's getting close to a march by supporters to the front door of the President.

Someone at this club is bullshitting to all the members. We are being lied to about the state of play within this club. The club treats its members in an appalling manner, lies lies and more lies. All I do know from my 50 odd years on this planet....Do not sacrifice another coaches career. MN is no fool ...he has fools above him who are not leading this club. I will always be Melbourne BUT ...today I went and watched Geelong and Hawthorn to get some idea of what it is like to watch elite football. I also noted what Hawthorn do during their pre-game and they leave our mob for dead on and off the field. Total professionalism !! I want our President and CEO to lead and get out there on the front foot. I suspect Neeld knows the issues and would not blame him for walking out if this shyte continues. It is his future at stake here, and I am sick to the back teeth of poor leadership at this club. It starts at the top, so come out Mr President and show some leadership.

I watch a lot of footy This MFC Team and recent MFC Teams work ethic is the worst in the competition. They do not work hard at all for this level of football, and this is no exaggeration. This is the essence of all our problems. Pure lazy list of footballers who simply do not work hard enough on game day. This reflects on EVERYONE at this club.

Lets all be totally honest with ourselves. There is a disease at this club that no one is capable of diagnosing, I have no idea as a man over 50 and supported the club for all my life. No one seems to have the answers, the players don't appear capable to lift themselves to elite level and the football department seems out for the count. To watch teams go past us every year as we stand still just amazes me. How does this simply happen? I have lost all confidence in this shell of a football club.

BW Threads such as this are so stupid. Long suffering supporters don't need to be told by the likes of you to shut up. This nonsense that its only round one might work for a side who have had success, but the MFC has been woeful for far too long. Booing is a last resort and we don't like it, however today we played a side who came 14th last year and on our home ground and round one! It was utter rot to watch, and I do not blame any supporter for saying enuff is enuff! Those who have the audacity to tell us to have perspective, should back off. This football club is incapable of defending itself. This club just gives the media a free run every year. Zero credibility and it is deserved.
