The national game has been up and about for more than 20 years, yet sides who travel still play bad football. I take my hat off to Sydney, they are solid on most of their interstate games. Today's game in Perth was another predictable outcome. Not being a west coke supporter nor a west Aussie, I tune out of games in Perth these days.....it's too predictable and much the same in Adelaide. For a national game, coaches and players still can't get the right formula for travelling......bloody strange

I am not surprised at the amount of praise and support for Moloney among supporters...BUT those who bash Neeld for his stance GET BLOODY REAL you numbskulls. This team has been a disgrace...yes a miserable disgrace. If changing a very bad culture means pissing people off...then all power to Neeld. I have had a gutful of MFC apologists....take a look you lot, you are part of the bad culture. As for Beamer....I wish him good luck however he was also part of the problem.

Let's move on from the shyte that is the MFC in 2012. Let's move on from Jurrah, let's move on from Scully. Let's hope and prey this damn club is learning lessons and just go and get the best, develop them and create a bloody good environment so they want to stay.

Watching the team this year clearly demonstrated how much Bailey was a unmitigated disaster for the MFC. Unless Neeld is a miracle worker, head overseas for a couple of years to think of other things other than footy. The single biggest stuff up of the decade was employing Bailey.

Total failure 2013. Club nearing the end, very few signs of getting better.

Off to watch the other teams. 2012 has been nothing short of disgraceful football by this club. Overpaid underwhelming incompetent football list. Shell of an AFL team, and the club is gone if this continues. Let's see if 2013 keeps us interested.

Jack Trengroves skills and fitness is terrible to watch. In any other team on his form this year he would not get a game

If this is true then I am disgusted. The whole Bailey experiment has set us back a generation. This club has a habit of throwing good money at bad options. Geez this really shits me.

One trick pony...plays hard and a stopper, but that's all. We need mids who get the bloody ball and race it out of the guts and kick goals. We don't need one trick ponies.

Screw this notion of just getting respect. For decades Melbourne supporters have been rightly tagged with been satisfied on mediocre performances by the MFC. The MFC culture stinks and we all know it. Don't sack anymore coaches, give this guy 5 years to get it right but we must show incremental improvement in win loss ratio. Unless supporters demand this from the board, then close the doors. 100% or nothing. No more been satisfied with the status quo.

I rate Tapscott as a Jet. Garland has not lived up to expectations in 2012.....Glider. Has been in the system a long time.

Well my two bobs worth is - 36th year as a paid up member in 2013. I want tangible improvement. I want to go to games and watch a team who look like they belong at AFL level NOT 2012 where they have looked and played like VFL. I want the MFC to work over the summer like never before to recruit aggressively to top up a poor list. I want our fitness to be equal to the top clubs. Please MFC it is time...to lift the bar!

At the risk of been attacked by the thread police, I want to highlight this issue again. All clubs have their fair share of injuries but our beloved mob do it better and more consistently than most. We have heaped dollars on the Misson experiment and lets hope that will reap benefits. But truly it is getting tiring every year.

My take on all this is control freak stuff is simple. Adrian Anderson is behind most of the AFL policies on football matters. He is without doubt a media [censored] who loves the attention and his hubris is second only to AD. These types exist to control the rest of us mere mortals....god bless them.
