Has speed - both running and with disposal. No doubt he is a good footballer just need to find the right spot / right time
  4. Sydee replied to dworship's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
I can only think he is yet to build the tank to play wing at AFL level - that two way running that say Langdon does is not easy
  5. Sydee replied to dworship's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
35 - 18 casey lead at half time

Quarter time summary Bowey - smart and clean with disposal Melk - some good touches Weid - no real impact AVB - hardly sighted Jetta - head knock went off Daw - Competing well in ruck Chandler - One goal not much else Baker - looking ok on wing Smith - couple of good spoils and a nice mark Bedford - cant get into game Casey 20 to 8 inside 50s Werribee flooding back scrappy game
  9. Chalmers ? Have I missed something
  10. Agree don’t understand the negative commentary on Harmes - has he had better games - yes but his effort was there and his disposal was actually ok in the second half not sure how you make a case for anyone being demoted after a team win like that I thought the only player that was a bit disappointing was Fritta - one great goal but other than that wasn’t involved that much. Has credits in the bank and no obvious replacement so he is safe
  11. May - won most contests Salem - neat tidy creative Harmes - effort was good Petracca - love your work Jackson - played his role Viney - second half better Lever - solid as usual Spargo - rarely wastes possession Brayshaw - important underrated contributor Gawn - Led by example Oliver - great link man Hibberd - in great form Langdon - not his best Jordon - I trust JJ Rivers - lots to like Petty - marking with confidence McDonald - A great contribution Hunt - takes game on Neal-Bullen- a mixed bag Fritsch - one fabulous goal Pickett - back to best Brown - Goals will come
  12. Ok so now I’m convinced you are not a MFC supporter and should just disappear
  13. More than you I suspect we are in front Start supporting the MFC
  14. I don’t but your bring an average supporter - lift your game
  15. Mate just stfu if you can’t say anything but rubbish our own players
  16. And we lead keep going Dees don’t worry about umps get it done
  17. Hi Majak and welcome to Demonland Great to hear your enthusiasm but suspect you might have to deliver a bit more at Casey and prove your point I know your mate BB hasn't exactly done that but he does has some decent form on the board kicking goals a few years ago - hence he is given the chance ahead of you
  18. It couldn't be bigger for us Lose and its likely we fall out of top 4 - with a really tough run of games to go If we are serious about winning a flag - we must retain top 4 If we are serious about winning a flag - we must beat teams like Port that want to replace us in Top 4 Who really wants it more - tonight will indicate a lot about this team. If we are extremely competitive and lose by a small margin then that's a possible pass mark. If we lose easily and never look like it then that is a huge concern Our form has dropped off which is not that unexpected - it is almost impossible to go through the season without some sort of form dip Personally I am concerned that are starts have been a weakness - if we let them get off to a fast start the big pro Port crowd will get them flying - hard to see a way back from there
  19. The expectations on BB are pretty unrealistic if you ask me The guy hasn't really done enough to genuinely deserve a call up (no idea if he's been training the house down) but his Casey form has been so so IMHO Am I against giving him a chance - not really because at the very least he may attract their best defender. However anyone expecting him to have a big influence on the result and kick more than 1 or 2 goals is being very very optimistic / unrealistic

Agree with that Bin - what's happening with the spelling there today ??
  21. Does Dr D stand for Dr DOOM? No MFC supporter would be feeling great about our loss to GWS, I know I'm not, but you my friend need to chill a bit Attacking other supporters on this site is just not on - neither is being the master of 20/20 hindsight or pretending to be the fountain of all knowledge I like reading other posters opinions on this site that can calmly and rationally talk about the teams performance and where/if we can improve. I also like to read opinions that seek out positives when sometimes there appears to none. Personally I find that helpful in dealing with a disappointing season or game It's fine to express a view, there will always be differences of opinion and that's healthy - what is not healthy is attacking people and discounting there views because they differ to your own
  22. What is bad is when you finish outside top 4 or have finals outside home state This team has given itself its best chance in very long time - its destiny is completely in its hands - are they actually any good - we are about to find out I'm really disappointed in their current form but plenty of top 8 teams have delivered up stinkers this season. The measure of a good team versus one that's average is how they respond Thursday we get to see what they are made of
  23. His 2020 was a disaster and effectively shown the door by a team that’s probably going to win the spoon Outperforming Weid is hardly something to get excited about Comparisons aside his form recently simply doesn’t warrant a senior call up IMO
  24. No point panicking We are either the real deal or just had a nice run and the reality bus is about to crash into us head on Tbh my 50 plus years supporting this club would suggest the head on collision is imminent - I would love to think I’m wrong but when you look at the last few weeks and the run home this team has it work cut out
  25. Hey thanks for the large font and bold text - makes it easy for old farts like me to read
