The one area the Saints have dominated us in the past is getting numbers around the contest & then smashing us on the spread. This is the area we lacked gut running & pace. I think we've shown in all our JLT matches that we have rectified this. Our MOST talented extractor did not play once against saints last year. Oliver.. who has developed a tank. If he can win 50/50s more often than not, & get the ball out to our new runners in hunt, stretch, hannan & smith. All of a sudden we look like a quick unit who can reverse the trend & beat saints at their own game. I'm not saying we're going to win, but i am saying we could finally have what it takes to beat the saints. Which we have never realistically been in that position.

Melbourne's 2017 1st round selection and Dunn being floated as a potential trade. We have to back our source in on this as Lewis agreeing to 3 year deal was given to us in the initial message. We stuck our necks out on Mitchell and Lewis and the information was rock solid. IF it proves to be wrong we'll wear that. IF the deal falls over we will get some context around what happen. So let me get this straight.. Hawks initially try to push Lewis out.. They then lose Mitchell to West Coast (for pick 88). Do a backflip on the Lewis deal to us. Announce to the media that he's a required player. Then Clarko flies up to G.C to comfort Jager & reassure him he will be a Hawk. Then attempts to push Lewis into a deal, which would see him go to the Suns.. So Lewis tells Clarko & Hawks to shove it up their backsides, because he wants to be a Dee! ... Is that right ?? Cause if it is... Lewis would be absolutely filthy with the Hawks. I think they've become too arrogant for their own good.
