Ok so weirdly enough, I dreamt Thursday night that we were up by 3 goals at 3QTR time & then went on to lose by a goal, failing to score in the last.. Then last night, I had the same dream, thinking it was real I told everyone that I dreamt about it the night before. Moral of the dreams are.. if we're up by 3 goals at 3QTR time, put your house on Hawks to get up.

I've been getting down to Casey most weeks to watch him play .. There's no doubt he has talent. Sure hands and great goal kicking technique. However.. My opinion is that I don't think he's ready for a call up against the Hawks of all teams.. His defensive side I've felt, still needs a lot of work. Including his field kicking efficiency. He had a really great game last week, but I would've liked to see him string at least 2 or 3 great games in a row before a call up. There's no doubt i'm really excited to see him debut though, and I'm sure he will have a real crack.

guys relax. 99% of you on here were expecting us to get smashed. Were the youngest side in the AFL & were in this up to our eyeballs. yes we should be at least 3/4 goals up. But it's great signs.

I have no doubt Dawesy will come out & try his hardest knowing his career depends on it.. but unfortunately his talent doesn't match his desire. I'd love for him to prove me wrong, but I can't see it.

Just heard on SEN that there has been a lot of talk lately about Michael Barlow coming home to Vic (Shepparton boy) .. To which an anonymous caller (also from shepparton) confirmed and then went on to say that he has it on good authority, Barlow would be in the Red and Blue next season. Apparently Barlow is out of contract, but is not a free agent. He'll be 29 in December. I think I'd consider him as a free agent.. But I wouldn't give up anything less than a 4th rounder for him. The questions is.. what's he worth? if anything? And would you want him in the red and blue?

I think a very damning stat in this game & from memory, most of the year.. would be our lack of tackles in our forward 50. 3 tackles from 40 entries is unacceptable. Saints with 14 from 50 entries says a lot about our forwards. Those who say hogan is not there to do that are kidding themselves. Any weak link & it doesn't work. Hawks are the perfect example of forward pressure. They just desperately keep it in there. It's just extracted so easily out & then were killed on the rebound. Honestly.. it's not that hard is it !!?

saints are a sh*t team. we make them look like world beaters

nothing for Roos to figure out. the players have to just f**kin pull their heads out of each other's a55es & play with a bit of urgency. 2 tackles inside forward 50 is unacceptable ... world beaters one quarter, hacks the next. it's just so frustrating.

id be feeling close to 100% confident if this game was played at the G... But coming off a 6 day break & up at the NT where we clearly struggle. I'm extremely nervous!

absolutely not.. he's a passenger for the dogs & very underwhelming in a lot of aspects. he always just seems to get on the end of some great plays from star dogs. big PASS

As much as I would love to see that & happy to be proven wrong about his value to the team.. I'm frightened that his ability to take a mark (which is already horrendous) will be further hindered by the humidity. If he's not pinch-hitting in the ruck.. I don't understand what his 'role' is.. we have enough leaders out there.. we just need 22 players to ensure the 4 points.
