What we have lost
I reckon Harmes was an own goal...a mistake moving him on.

Luke Jackson back to Victoria?
I'll be the odd man out here, but when he was in the ruck was when Freo looked most dangerous. He really opens the game up for the mids. As I said previously, I would love him back...

Media Madness
I'm pretty much the same...I didn't mind that show SEN have on Saturdays around lunch time but it's gone off. Plus with Tom Morris on it, well, I just don't bother anymore. No pre match, no during match breaks (I go and do other things and come back for the bounce), the analysis just doesn't exist any longer...so many heads working in football media and such a poor offering. I get my news & footy fix on Demonland...

Media Madness
Agree mate...I don't watch any of it now. I listen to a lot less radio coverage and if we all did that imagine how Kane and co would go trying to get a pay check. Time to shut the noise down. I find it adds nothing (in fact it detracts) to my quality of life.

I would love him back. ...the icing on the cake would be Kozzie staying. I mean why would he want to go to Freo anyway.

Goal Kicking - Bring back the fatties
I think you just answered the question.

NON-MFC: Round 08
He is dreadful...but so iare most of the other so called expert commentators. They just barrack, pump players up and drag teams down and tell us what we already know. How about some insight into thregame. Zac Merret is a star. I didn't know that. Thanks Kingy that was great insight mate. What the hell was the decision made by the official into the ear piece of the umpire by the way?

Carlton Tribunal
Suspension are for games not weeks. He got a 4 game ban. ...but Lyon's crack at the AFL for an amateur hour reserves comp was more than valid.

Tom McDonald re-signs for 2025
I've been a critic at times but there is no doubt that Tommy will end as one of the Melbourne Football Club greats... Well done Tommy, may you keep on keeping on.

The Next CEO
So...we have a President who will take up his role sometime down the track when he's back from holidays and now a CEO who will take up his sometime around September when he finishes a current commitment. How are the optics on this? Let alone the practicalities. Doesn't seem like a lot of urgency at the club.

The Next CEO
With the Andrew and Andrew, pretty lightweight affair I would think. Nice bit of media management though.
-
The Next CEO
I'm not concerned about previous affiliations. PJ was an EFC supporter from memory. I am concerned about a lack of AFL experience...it's not about dealing in FD matters but it is about working within an industry that is a bit of a closed shop.

The Next CEO
There are some very big football decisions to be made...AFL experience might just be a handy box to tick.

2025 MRO & Tribunal
Toby would have got time as would Koz... The other Green. Similar but lucky there was no concussion.

Tom Fullarton
I think Tom still plays like a basketballer & hasn't been able to transition his athletic traits to football. You can get away with it at VFL level but get found out in the AFL. When he jumps at the ball it's not with intent, he seems open (for want of a better word) & he's too easily pushed aside or blocked. He does some smart things around the ball, little tap ons & the like that come from his previous sport. ...but as a package he's obviously not the answer. Wonder what LJ's doing.

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
Bit of an understatement, but that was a good win...

NGA Rule changes mooted
I've said this before and will repeat myself. It's time to get rid of the NGA's... The AFL need to do it's job and promote the game and a fair draft.

Time to go Goody?
Whether it's fair or not 'Macca', if the message is not getting through then that will come back on the coach. For whatever reason, he can't sell the message and the old term of lost the players comes to the fore. The players should take their share of the blame, it's them that play the game and are performing poorly but in the end it's the coach that goes and they for the most part they play on.

Media Madness
I'm not a fan, but she has a point. Like a lot of things that were well set up by PJ the women's program has been neglected by key players. Obviously Roffey was a supporter but not sure she had a lot of followers.
