I don't think Bailey Laurie's extension is causing us a lot of grief at the moment but I get your point. I think a lot on here thought and still think we had a list that should have led to more flags. A dynasty... Personally I've always thought we got the most from that list to win in 2021 but had some big holes in it that needed to be addressed. The point about the professionals rings true to me and I fear they may have misjudged the list as many of the amateurs here have. I think our biggest issue was off the ground and the transition of power away from PJ...a lot of time was taken up with internal struggles and peripheral issues, the eye seemed to be off the ball so as to speak. Time will tell but some decisions as you say don't look that great. With better oversight and more focus maybe we would have been in a better position... but that we will never know.

The trouble is that it's easy to look in hindsight.

Tom Morris would definitely be my go to list management expert...

...but it's May. Lets say it was Darcy Moore in the same position. The whole football world would say it was a football act and he was going for the ball. May is not Moore and it's doubtful that he gets a fair hearing.

I've always found (at least 90% of the time) when people say it's a good listen what they really mean is these guys agree with my thinking...

If you look at his list there's a fair case to say he is underperforming...

An old friend of mine used to work in a bar in London.
