NGA Rule changes mooted
I've said this before and will repeat myself. It's time to get rid of the NGA's... The AFL need to do it's job and promote the game and a fair draft.

Time to go Goody?
Whether it's fair or not 'Macca', if the message is not getting through then that will come back on the coach. For whatever reason, he can't sell the message and the old term of lost the players comes to the fore. The players should take their share of the blame, it's them that play the game and are performing poorly but in the end it's the coach that goes and they for the most part they play on.

Media Madness
I'm not a fan, but she has a point. Like a lot of things that were well set up by PJ the women's program has been neglected by key players. Obviously Roffey was a supporter but not sure she had a lot of followers.

Time to go Goody?
Stat reader... Not sure what Buckley said on his show tonight but was on the money this morning with his comment that we don't look a happy team. That's what it's really all about, this is not a unified group at the moment.

Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
It appears that 1 + 1 = 3...

Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
Pity... He worked with the man who turned it around & appears to have the no BS edge we need to do it again.

I hope they've spoken with Mahoney.

Key position forward - Archie Ludowyke
I think the bigger concern is how we've f... his development. A kid who probably should have been back at Casey to get some confidence is expected to carry a dysfunctional forward line as the only KPF on the weekend. That's just not right.

How did we get here? Is it your fault?
It has been a long running issue...and this board has probably been the closest to getting a result. It's still not done and then there is the funding which is only getting harder. Tthey have dropped the ball around club performance. Things have been allowed to fester. Another flag out of this group should have been expected but we're a mile off now and the window is closed. Getting a quality CEO shouldn't have dragged on this long. External issues have been poorly handled...eye off the ball.

How did we get here? Is it your fault?
No obsession with Peter Lawrence, never met him, never spoken to him, wouldn't know him if I ran into him... ...but how did we get to this spot. I'm concerned we don't have a President, CEO and probably coach...let alone still no home base. Surely the board is responsible for this. As members a lot were bought the story they sold and here we are. Decisions need to be made that have long term ramifications but no one in current caretaker positions should be making them. How do we move forward.

How did we get here? Is it your fault?
I just think whilst blame is being cast on the coach and others maybe it's time for a bit of self reflection. As members we should demand more even when things seem to be going along well. Some seemed to have their head in the sand.

How did we get here? Is it your fault?
You're not an innocent bystander if you're a member of the club.

How did we get here? Is it your fault?
Well, we don't even have Smith at the moment so how's that going for us? It's not about Lawrence, though he was probably the canary in the coal mine. The red flag was when PJ's succession plan was knocked back. Now where do we stand? Big decisions to be made but no one in a position to make them...

How did we get here? Is it your fault?
I'm putting blame on those that voted the status quo, or those that did by default in not voting at all. That's a lot of people on this site.

How did we get here? Is it your fault?
We have an interim President, acting CEO, effectively a caretaker coach & FD boss, still no home base & other issues not in the least our on-field performance. The writing has been on the wall for a while now, maybe even just before the flag. Those who voted for the status quo have a bit of thinking to do... Big decisions need to be made but we don't have a management team in place to make them.. A well run club doesn't end up in this position. Thanks...

Nuggets' Music Videos
I think this might be a safe forum for a while. Sorry not to have checked in recently. I just watched some of Coachella on YouTube... I'm not a fan of big shows, would rather more intimate affairs. However, Benson Boon (never heard of him before) was impressive. It was a massive performance/show, only caught the last few songs but the penultimate was 'Bohemian Rhapsody' (not really a Queen fan either). He covered. the vocal & theatrics beautifully, big choir onstage, was wondering how the guitar player was going to cover May's parts (she could play by the way) then May elevates up through the stage... Impressive...

NON-MFC: Round 05
He really is playing well...interesting to see if he can sustain it. He also puts a lie to the idea of pace, just plods around the ground and gets to where the ball is then makes great decisions.

NON-MFC: Round 05
The Dogs were without key players (Bont particularly...Treloar, Weightman) Sydney were a one man team tonight, awful. As I said, it's a long season...I don't think they will make it but I've been wrong many times before.

NON-MFC: Round 05
It's a long season...they've only played one contender and got smashed.

NON-MFC: Round 05
C/wood are ok but seriously tonight they were playing against Heeney. The rest of the Swans looked cooked.
