Simon Goodwin Sacked
We're a small club. Fans became members when we won a flag and were winning games. Fairweather members. They would always drop off when things get tough, maybe it happened a bit earlier than expected but it was going to happen sometime. I would be more concerned with a board/management who couldn't make hay when things were good.

Training Ground?
...and some people want to go back to zones. The sooner we move on ridding ourselves of academies & F & S the better.

2025 MRO & Tribunal
The whole case was dumb and the media rubbish. If they went back to paying in the back none of this rubbish would happen. Shiel deserves a big penalty or the act but in the end that's not the point here. It really p...me off. Just go back to the rules, our forefathers developed them for a reason and this is one of them.

Sharing My Ongoing Cancer Experience
Share on the pregame or game day thread 'hardtack'....so many people derail threads and this is for a good purpose. Maybe pass it by the mods to get the all clear or even ask for a suggested thread that gets a lot of views.

PREGAME: Rd 23 vs Hawthorn
Howes came on & Bowey went into the mid/forward rotation. I would like to see more of Bowey in that role.

Brad Green and the current board
Not my understanding that it was unanimous but you might be right...

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Pretty sure the job is Buckley's and has been all along. It's why the other big players have announced they are not available. No point putting yourself up for a foregone conclusion. Anyway, we wait and see...

May to Tribunal
Quoting myself here but heard Gerrard Healy say almost exactly the same thing earlier today. Whately was trying to say the tribunal need to stamp this out, Healy basically said it never happened until they started allowing hands in the back. Enforce the original rule & you have no problem.

May to Tribunal
He (Shiel) put both players in extreme danger and should get a minimum of 3 weeks, personally I think it's worth 5 to 6. This needs to be abolished from the game. Unfortunately allowing players to push in the back has had these type of unintended consequences. It started with hands to steady and progressively led to pushing. Go back to umpiring the rules, hands in the back is a free kick...there is a reason the founders had this rule in the first place.

May to Tribunal
I don't understand the argument from King & Cornes. King reckons Newcome had no idea that Howe was there at the start... He looks straight at him when they are around 10 metres off the ball and then again before the collision.

May to Tribunal
That's him...perfect description.

10th season of the AFLW
Just enjoy it for wha it is 'old dee'...it will never be the mens game but the endeavour, team first attitude and joy that our girls bring to the game make them a great watch for me. I said above Goldy is my favourite Demon and she is & that includes the men. ...not the best skills but she takes the game on, is so competitive & always plays with good spirit along with such a big smile when the game is done.

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
With you on the KPF's, nothing of interest at the Hawks but I would also be dubious of picks in this draft...

PREGAME: Rd 22 vs Western Bulldogs
He's nowhere near ready, only just starting to find his feet at VFL level.

Caroline Wilson’s article 2 August 2025
Nah, she's spot on with what she's saying. The whole thing is a disgrace and it was rubber stamped by the members..

Caroline Wilson’s article 2 August 2025
I think it's a bit of a nothing but the substance of the article is very concerning.

Caroline Wilson’s article 2 August 2025
The point is he's not here, the right candidate would have been well entrenched in the job.

From anger to action: A call for constructive feedback to leadership
Not so much now but I'm sure if we went all youth approach most would be complaining if we lost. I don't agree with some of the selections but you can guarantee it's always been done in good faith.
