It was pretty obvious that something was up with Danger. Was absent from centre bounces in the 2nd half & didn't appear to be on the ground for large periods of play. Little or no mention from the channel 7 experts. Watching with a mate we figured by deduction that he must have been injured...
-
I think we are doing the same this year... ...mystery injury last week. Probably one last shot at it.

Well, i guess avoiding litigation in the future is for the good of the game. It could be litigated out of existence if they don't do something. edit: of course the changes could legislate the game out as a spectacle and drop fans by the droves. ...at the moment there is no consistency in the approach. As much as I don't like it won't be long before you can't tackle a player to the ground. The risk of suspension is too great.
-
Great talent, but at 24 he's one of the players you build your team around. I wouldn't think they're mad enough to move him on.
-
Move on to the Geelong game...
-
I haven't seen this game tonight but they are seriously underperforming. I fear for Vossy, don't know whether the board can hold their nerve...
-
The umpires have lost their way..it's sad to see and making it difficult to watch a game without throwing something at the TV...and that's neutral games. A good idea would be to go back to the rule book. In the 2 games I've watched so far, in the back has become a chook raffle. It used to be simple...hands in the back is hands in the back.
-
Yes, I can see the similarity...
-
I'm sure you're right, but who is Nelson Muntz?
-
Membrey at 188cm...
-
Really a 3rd tall...so not the answer.
-
Looks like WC are trying to play Yeo out of the team playing him at FB against Tex... ...make the call.
-
I will throw in a 29/30 year old. Brisbane have benefitted over the last few years from the Hawthorn rebuild with Gunston, Birchall & Hodge... Geelong benefited with Smith. WC maybe looking at restructuring their list & I would think Elliot Yeo would be a good get for a few years. Shouldn't cost a lot but would add a lot to a contender.
-
I would prefer to play them with both teams at full strength. That's where the real lessons are to be learned. Looks like De Goey will be having a well earned mid season break so there goes that idea. It's still going to be a great challenge and should set us up well for the 2nd half of the season.

I've usually got a pretty good idea around 6pm on the last Saturday in September.

Give it a break mate...don't call an opinion that is not in agreement with yours laughable. Hardly an intelligent call. Last year a lot got on the bandwagon re Bailey and they like you are way off the mark. That was an easy shot for him and he took it. He didn't burn Kade, he did one time last year with Trac... ...and the whole thing got blown up in the media. I don't want to see players continually burning each other and this is not that. I likewise don't want Bailey 2nd guessing himself.
-
He kicked a goal that he's paid to kick, did kick & would kick every day of the week. I would rather Fritsch take the shot than start 2nd guessing himself.
-
I just couldn't see it in Coleman...skinny kid, too many unrealistic attempts to mark.
-
I'm concerned by him as well.. ...but he reads the ball well in flight, has good hands and can kick. I would love him to come out and take over the forward line at Casey, saying get out of the way old men to BBB and Tommy, you've had your time. That's not going to happen. He's going to be an interesting watch.
-
BBB see above. Turner would be smashed by McKay, he's better at the Lever role but we still Lever...not saying Tomo won't but at least he has the strength to match him. Let's hope good Tomo turns up. ...or hope McKay still has the yips.
-
BBB has been struggling at Casey. Last week is the first game he's managed to get a bit of the ball. If he strings a few games together & gets a bit of movement in his body then we will see him soon.
-
I think '@A F' has been seen knocking on Aaron Naughton's door... I might join him.
-
Of course it does. I guess after all the previous reporting, I don't know, it take me aback.
-
No, he was working on it for months prior.
