So.....Everyone wants to trade JH for a skinny 18 years old, who MIGHT become a player in a few years I don't have the stats for this year but last year when playing mostly in the back line he was 5th in general kicks 1st in short kicks 2nd in marks taken 1st in contested marks 2nd in rebound 50's He is a 25 year old 100 game player So far away from being a 1 trick pony it's not funny.....He has been maligned since he put contract talks on hold as DL's can't seem to get their heads around a player making a decision of his own future. He is a good player that I would hate to lose.

I don't suppose you saw Dane Swan kick straight to the man on his mark (Buckley, I think) who then took off and resulted in a goal to Carlton....These thing happen.....I don't normally go to JW threads as the sheep just keep following each other. ALL AFL players make mistakes other wise there would be nil all draws....Can we please change the record I don't think there has been a more maligned player than Jack.

I just went onto their Facebook page and there are a few people complaining. I will be watching at 5.00pm to see if the replay has changed. Foxfooty is the reason I have foxtel too. We shouldn't have to put up with this crap. How many Collingwood supporters would want to watch any replay of the game?....None I would think.

I have just rang Foxtel to make a complaint about Ed commentating on the replays. Got a charming young lad who sympathised with my plight. Was told to Email Feedback@fox sport.com.au and all feedback will be replied to or go to their facebook page....Foxsport/aus.....If many people complain...they will change it. I to wanted to keep this taped game but will be ditching it if this afternoons replay is still the Eddie version

I wouldn't get too excited about players wages......The money that players get is unknown except for the player, the club, the player manager All monies quoted in the media are complete guesswork unless you have a peek at their group certificate. Just all media hype

Well.....I blame the phisos and coaches for this mess Jesse Hogan kicks the first goal last week after 3 minutes of play and then sprints to the bench for a bloody rest Forwards are not permitted to have goal kicking practise as this puts overdue stress on their legs FMD.....What the hell is going on.....This is a simple game when it boils down....Kick more goals than the opposition and you win To many coaches....Too many fitness blokes, all having their 2 bobs worth, To many "experts" having their say.....to many defensive ploys by coaches, who in my opinion have ruined a great game.

I took my 2 kids to the footy every chance I had....We had ham and salad rolls and a large bottle of cordial....sat out in the rain and barracked as hard as we could They are still both members and my grand daughter is a paid up member (8 months old) Even though we lost more than we won.....It was great family time

Wow....I just love the experts on here....I don't know how many of you have actually played this game but is it not the easiest to play. When your out of form, it is not like you can flick a switch and get back into form, the ball always seems to bounce the wrong way, you can't seem to get to the right position you just can't seem to get near the bloody thing and the confidence goes, your man seem to always be in the right spot to make you look like your not trying or foolish. A lot of posters were baying for Nathan Jones to be dumped/delisted because he was always tackled and his kicking...Glad we stayed the course with him. Just have a look at the venom that is heading T McDonalds way and he had a great start to the year. And just to the great keyboard hero's calling our players Spuds/useless/pea hearts. I hope you have played AFL footy to be so full of yourselves and so high and mighty. P.S. If you think that Howe is being gifted games to get a better trade....You need to seriously take a good look at yourselves

New York City used to be the leader of the world in crime...Drugs....Murder....Rapes....Assaults The Mayor brought in a no tolerance policy and over 10 years it has become the safest city in the USA. I was there a year or so ago and it is the safest I have felt in a major city except for Melbourne If you legalise drugs such as heroion, ice, ect.....It will lead to more deaths and violence. 45 years ago I took up smoking....To be one of the cool guys...It was legal I have an addiction that I still cant rid myself of. He is a swing man which we need.....He was in our leading group of rebound 50's last year and can play forward and kick goals Somehow taking "species" is now bad??? I have stated his stats on this thread before, he is the right age and played the right amount of games to fit our side going forward. I would not trade him for a top 10 pick in this years draft which is described as very shallow. At least he shows a bit of flair and I enjoy his great marks. He is not a world beater but he is still a solid player who can improve. Just my opinion.

Hopefully they will cut the interchange numbers to about 10 a quarter....That should stop the crap that goes on at the moment. It's the same as the forwards not being able to practise goal kicking as the experts say they are overloading their legs To many sports scientists in this game now. It used to be such a simple game.

Are you really serious?.......You really take notice of Demonland Player of the year votes???? You would really take a pimply 18 year old for him????? Which would involve 2 to 3 years of development as we have seen with Stretch and ABN You have to pay the cap for your players So by your reasoning we should ignore all stats for all players and just watch for their impact on the game.....We wouldn't have a side.....Players have roles these days dictated by the coaches......He keeps getting a game so must be doing something right.

I don't understand the hate for Jeremy Howe on here 2014 1st for short kicks 5th for kicks 2nd for marks 1st for contested marks 2nd for rebound 50's He is now playing in the forward line which is a much harder position and kicked 4 goals in the past 2 weeks People get so carried away with draft/trade and what we can get for him that's it's not funny He is 24 years of age has played 89 games and kicked 75 goals I hope he re-signs and continues to get more consistent........I've just returned from Bali.....Demonland never changes, I might have to go back

As disappointed as the last 40 sec were yesterday I noted the following points 9 players in our side have played less than 50 games 4 of those are in their first year. St Kilda are the best side for pressure on opposition (Ranked 1st in the league)and we matched them in pressure acts Last year and the one before when we were 4 goals down in the 2nd quarter that would have been the game and a loss by 6 or more Last year and the one before we would not have hit the front in the last after struggling all quarter. Tyson has played 42 games and coming back from injury (Get off his back) I don't think you could fault the players desire which we have in the past Yep....Players made mistakes as ALL players do.....Yep it's frustrating watching from an elevated position when you can see loose players but the players at ground level can't. It's not all doom and gloom....I think it is starting to come together. Any player that pulls on our jumper does not deserve to be called a spud, please find another name to prove your superiority. Anyway just my view on things as they stand.

Sandilands has played since 2003.....That's 12 years......He has also played 216 games (At the start of this season) It took him 3 or 4 years to get a game in the freo side who weren't that good. Gawn has played since 2011.......That's 4 years......He has also played 26 games (At the start of this season) Spencer has played since 2009.....That's 6 years....He has played 29 games(At the start of this season) It takes a lot of time for ruckmen to mature (I don't know why but it just does) That's why ruckmen stay on lists which seams for ever If we had persisted with Martin we would be gaining the benefits now.....It just takes time

I knew I shouldn't have logged on today. Lets put it into perspective We started the year with a full team and had wins against GC and Rich.....every one was happy...posters were claiming finals we had young guns firing Then the injuries began (which they will every year) .We were dismantled against GWS in the second half and ran with Adelaide for most of the game THEN....We ran into Freo (who have not even looked like losing).....Then Sydney coming off a surprise defeat and lost by 38 pts.....Then Hawthorn who had come off another surprise defeat and are current Premiers. We copped a few injuries and were beaten by very experienced TOP sides who have confidence and have been together for a long time Having read a few posts......Peter Jackson should lift his game or be sacked......At least half the side should be delisted......the rest tarred and feathered and tied to a stake outside the Melbourne town hall.......Roos has no idea and should be sacked. Maybe we can wait for a few weeks and see how we are going at the half way point before winding up the club and all going home. Just a thought
