    I will be petitioning the club that we change the mascot from the demon to herbie the hobo. in these modern times,the demon is less significant due to the dying influence of religion. As football is now a corporate enterprise expropriated from the community,i think it fitting we identify with herbie as we are in fact,homeless hobos of the afl in its current context. and should be despised as much as the symbol of ungodliness,the trident bearing,smiley demon.

    Apparently Collingwood are pushing for Father/s/son rules to be changed. This will help them draft guys who they know are Collingwood sons but they just can't remember exactly which one is the Father.

    They are on the slide. Balmey was the best footy manager in the comp but the team is full of old stars and young talent . Not many 25 to 28 year olds.

    Goffy, Let's not forget the people who pay the salaries of these boys.In a nutshell,it is members and the slobs that get foxtel,along with the merch . It is in every sense a public company/enterprise. Any lack of transparency throws doubt on the AFL and weakens the game. Why would you not want to know what is going on with peoples contracts? Of any club, ours is the one that should be seeking this more than anyone given the mismanagement that has occurred in the near past . Lets see what these guys are worth and what they do for the cash.

    Yes.Publish the lot and make a a final list of payments at years' end. Unless we have 15 blokes make AA, then we should be safe from salary cap breaches.

    Yes of course they should be. 1.Transparency for fans,AFL,all clubs. 2.Planning/flexibility for struggling teams 3.Would see $$ matched with talent /performance/loyalty rather than bullsh!t speculation from Agents. 4.Could help wrest some of the power from the tattoed bogan union of chapel st. Against. 1.We would be aghast at what some blokes are getting. 2.The coaches contract is made public and often these salaries are below what a back pocket gets.Leading to power struggles. We have got this right,the bulldogs are still struggling with the concept.

    Jeezus Moonie. Of course this is pure racism. Any time I have a mathematical transaction that is in cash I seem to loose. Nearly all of these transactions are with Vietnamese people. I live in the Gatwick, They live in huge mansions in suburbs I will not name. At least my racism is based on an irrational fear of being exploited rather than an unreadable text written by a mad man!
